I was so turned off by the instantaneous, in your face, almost accusatory "Can I help you with something?????" tone of the elderly lady working there I left very quickly. Could I possibly be allowed to enjoy a shopping experience by browsing? Good grief! Poor training or a hapless employee.
I had come in because I liked what I saw in the window. I was interested in the white cropped jeans--but not after being treated as if I was suspect! I was also shocked at the interior of the store: it's rather barren! There's hardly anything there. Sparse racks of a meager selection against each wall and that's it. Nothing in the vast empty space in the middle. Like a nearly empty closet. 🤦♀️
Where's the inventory?
Then I saw the price tag on the jeans and wondered what kind of suckers they have coming in the spartan closet willing to pay $399 for an ordinary looking pair of cropped jeans. I can afford it. But I'm not a sucker. I simply don't understand the positive reviews of this place unless they are family members or paid...

Less than 6 business hours later I brought the item back and kindly asked if I could exchange it for another shirt I had tried on. Absolutely not...sales lady was apologetic but unbudging...sale item purchases are final. Wish I had been told that when I purchased the item but the receipt clearly states it. Just thought it wouldn't make a big difference since the item I wanted to exchange would have resold very quickly. I rarely ask to be the exception to a policy but my personal business interactions and also being a mom have taught me not to say no unless it matters. This would not have mattered to the store's...
