I went with an average based on my last three visits . I have enjoyed eating here since they opened! The food was always on point and CONSISTENTLY DELICIOUS! As well at the staff , made me feel and treated me like family . My past three visits have been very different , regarding the food and it’s consistency and quality. I order the same thing - ALWAYS. And the past three visits the food has not tasted the same , nor made correctly (as I thoroughly and clearly order it - the same way, every time). The potatoes have been hard or old tasting . Like they were made and then refrigerated and then reheated, barely seasoned. I always state that I’d like corn tortillas at beginning of order and somehow I always receive flour. Next, sometimes there is cheese in my breakfast egg and potatoes and veggie tacos , and other times - none. I have stated that if none, please may I have some , just to avoid a mix up. Last time (Thursday of last week , I called right after I arrived home with my order - I live 25 min away)to make aware that my order was incorrect. I immediately began with my name and my apology for not checking my bag of order before leaving the window . I proceeded to explain my order and where it was not correct and I was willing to save and bring it back, a lil later. The gal on the phone told me that was not needed and took my name and said come in next time and it’s corrected for free. I was appreciated and appreciative. So , this visit this morning was “the correct order” However as stated above the order wasn’t as consistent as it used to be at all while this time it was on a corn tortilla and the correct ingredients ingredients did not taste fresh Nor seasoned. While I know I still will return to brushfire, I Hope that the staff who preps, cooks, pre-cooks, seasons and line cooks are all on the same page to make the products consistent as they were in the very beginning . . this review is not really to put any negative light on brushfire it is just to write a review about how many consumers are very intrigued by where they continuously/repeatedly go due to quality consistency of a product I will continue going because I love the staff and the owners and I would really like to enhance my visit by enjoying quality and consistently made products especially the ones that I get the same ones...
Read moreFood was solid Price was very reasonable Out of 3 items originally ordered, 2/3 of them were incorrect. The staff willingness was there. But I drove all the way back there for them to only mess up my order again. All I wanted was Sour Cream inside my burrito. First order was missing the sour cream even though it was strongly highlighted as a point to put inside the burrito and not on the side. Individual taking my order even asked her coworkers if they could do that.. and she said they could. Yet it was missing from the order. Driving back to 'Brushfire Tacos' I called to try and have it ready when I got there because I had work to get done and there were people waiting for their order. That didn't work so great. I was handed off to someone else and I had to explain what happened over again.. he then he wanted my order number which he thought to start remaking it again. After back and forth he told me to give my order number to him when I got there. I don't think they understood my situation or purpose calling.. perhaps they thought I wanted a refund....I didn't. I just wanted my order of food. When I arrived there for the second time I went through the drive thru to order my items. It was easier going through the drive thru and reordering. Of the original order, only two items needed to be re-ordered. I order it, and they nicely and professionally took care of my re order after I gave them my receipt. Gentleman at the window was very nice. I get home, and while one person is content, as it was what they wanted for themselves; I was very disappointed that I wasted my time trying to go back up there on this busy afternoon. Accidents happen. But a second time for something so easy is pretty bad teamwork; especially for someone who called and explained ahead of time, plus went thru the drive thru once again and reiterated it well on my second attempt as if I was someone new ordering.I simply wanted some sour cream. Maybe they don't understand what that is. First time there and last time. Only because of this situation, otherwise the food was freshly cooked and was clean...
Read moreThis was my first time trying Brushfire and I will not be back. I placed a $65.00 order and 5 minutes later they hand me a big bag and specifically said "this is everything". I specifically said back to the lady "this is everything??" And she said "yes, have a nice day" I get home and all thats in the bag is chips and salsa. They failed to give us our 9 tacos, 3 quesedias and 2 empenadas. Soooo I call them to let them know what happened before driving back. I explain that they just sent us off without our food and they assured us that everything was in the bag. Their response word for word was "no problem, come on back and well keep you're food in the warmer". No apology, no responsibility for what just happened, they pretty much played it off like it was our fault that the food wasn't in the bag and that they would be doing us the favor of keeping our 65.00 order in a warmer. I very kindly explained that not only was it a huge inconvenience for me to have to drive back over there but I surely wanted my order remade when I got there so I had hot fresh food. The woman had to put her manager on the phone for this. The manager gets on the phone and let's me know that they will do me the huge favor of redoing the order. The manager could clearly tell I was frustrated but did not offer an apology or seem to really care. I drove back down to brushfire to get my food, wait in the line, they give me my order, I rush home and what do you know!?!? I've got 65.00 worth of ice cold food. There is no way that they remade this order. This entire experience is absurd. I should have been offered at the very least an apology...
