I have been going to Chinatown Kitchen my entire life. It is one of those restaurants where you already know the food is going to be good even if the atmosphere may not be the best. I know from first hand experience that the food is homemade and fresh to order. They have the BEST crab rangoon in Peoria and many others will agree with me too. Some of my top favorites from this restaurant is their sesame chicken (spicy), mongolian beef and shrimp, and house special fried rice. The chicken is perfectly crispy and tender with the sweet, salty, and alittle spicy sauce. The mongolian beef and shrimp is cooked on a wok on high heat with carmelized onions bringing out the sweet onion aroma. The fried rice is very well priced given the amount of food you get. Read moreThe delivery was within the time frame promised. The order arrived hot, well packaged, & well presented. The mixed vegetables with tofu was wonderful, excellent freshness, texture, taste, & proportion of vegetables, with generous tofu. The rice was steamed to perfection. The garlic broccoli was strange. We have had garlic broccoli all over the world, & never has it tasted this way. When we called to share our compliments on the first dish & our experience with the second dish, the proprietor was indifferent, conveying no concern about our unpleasant experience. We will not order from this...

That option seems to no longer be available on the website but that's all well and good. What isn't well and good was the dry chicken that seemed to claw its way down. It was unbearably dry and had no starch coating whatsoever, the was was near non-existent and made me question if perhaps I made some form of typo in my order (I did not). The rice was..... ok, I mean Ming Shi had better rice imo as well as C. Express. The saving grace was the egg roll and the wontons but I mean if your appetizers are better than your main offerings that's a problem. I might come back in the future but holy crap, I think I'm gonna avoid this one...
