Taco Bell — Restaurant in Peoria

Originally I was going to order the cheesy gordita combo. But they said it came with spicy ranch. I asked them to substitute the spicy ranch with avocado ranch. They said the only way they would do it is if I paid them to substitute the spicy ranch with avocado ranch. Substitution means taking off something that's already paid for AKA included in the price and putting on something that is an equitable price point. To the best of my knowledge the spicy ranch and the avocado ranch cost the same. So I ordered the the three soft taco supreme combo. The only thing that might be considered Supreme about them is they did have the sour cream and tomatoes very little of them and very little of anything else. It seems as if they put only a tablespoon of beef. I ordered and of course paid for sides of rice for the kids. They came in tiny bowls that weren't even half full. And they did not include any utensils for the children to use to eat. I also ordered a cheesy double beef burrito. I asked if there was anything spicy in it. I was told no. This was not true. And they should have called it a double rice burrito, because although there was a little bit of beef in there it was hard to find with all the rice that was in there. The service was horrible, I waited twenty minutes for my order. And after I questioned the counter person about my order since three people after me had received their orders and left; no one could recall if my order had even been made. Now, mind you, my order was two $5 chilupas a simple order. This restaurant was not busy that's the main reason why we stopped there. Two cars in the parking lot no one at drive through. I told the young man please just make the order my wife and daughter were hungry and we still needed to drive home to Bloomington. When we finally received our food my five layer burrito did not have any meat on it. When I went back to the counter only to wait again, I ask about the meat and the young man tried to tell me I didn't order it with meat. I said my order request no sour cream, I had the receipt in my hand. There were at least eight people working there was no sense of urgency, only this playful nonshilant attitude displayed. So rather than make a scene and ask for the manager and have my food spat in. I kindly order three Doritos locos taco, I ate one my family was ready to leave because it was late. These young people are not being trained in the way of service to the customer. I...

This location has came a long way. In the past, they told us that we could not have black beans for a substitute for the beef despite the menu stating that was the appropriate sub. We stopped going to this location after that. We ate here four days ago due to the Sterling location being closed for renovation, and the food was good. The only problem was that they did not have enough black beans for our tacos (and we are vegan, so we had to wait or go elsewhere). The wait was about 25 minutes for them to make them. It would have only been only a 15 minute wait but they forgot to start the beans, so it added on some extra minutes. They did throw in some apple desserts for the wait, but we couldn't eat them due to them not being vegan friendly. I would go back there if I am ever in the area and Sterling is closed...
