Review Date: June 10th, 2023 The world would crumbl without delicious treats. After grabbing lunch with my dad at The Fry Spot, Emily wanted to hang out and do some shopping around Peoria for some home goods. As we headed towards our next destination, I asked her if she wanted to snag a quick cookie before more shopping. She said yes, so we made a quick stop for some sweet treats. The rage for Crumbl when it first opened in East Peoria was insane. It was months later and the lines to get cookies were out the door. So, I waited and waited for the hubbub to die down before trying it out. Well, life happens and that never happened. So, when we stopped on a late afternoon visit at the new Peoria location, it was nice to be the only ones in the store at that moment. We debated on either splitting a big cookie or getting a small one in the flavor we wanted. What we ended up doing was getting a giant cookie in the flavor that we wanted and split it in half for the other to try out. Emily got the Cinnamon Frybread and I got the standard chocolate chip. Each cookie came in at about $5 a piece, which is a lot for a single cookie. But they serve it warm and the fact you can walk in and get a cookie in two different sizes and in bulk quantity is wild. The place itself felt sterile inside. It was clean, somewhat empty, and totally pink and white. There was nothing out that didn’t need to be out. It seems you can order from these tablets but we ordered at the register cause it felt silly to order at the station and then walk 3 feet over to get our snacks. Plus, the cashier was wearing a cookie costume and how could you not want to interact with that. This is the kind of place you grab n go, so we snacked on our cookie in the car. The cookies are served warmed so it was a nice surprise to bite into a gooey and soft one. The cookie was super good, even if the price was a bit high for what you get. But for that price, it’s great quality and convenient.

I have to start off by saying Crumbl has got some of the best icing I have ever had, especially on the Golden oreo cookie! My son told me that they had the Tres Leches cookies and cream cake available and he wanted to get it this time since he missed out on it the last time it was here. He got on the app and seen that the East Peoria location was sold out. They did have it at the Peoria location though, so he placed his order there. I have to add that using the app is extremely convenient! Just place your order and it's ready when you get there! I noticed when I went into the Peoria location how much bigger it was than the East Peoria location. It was very spacious, clean & organized! They had a lot of people working hard making all the cookies, I love to bake, so it looked like a fun job to me, if I might add! I love how they actually put the cookies on display that they have available for purchase that week. They're right next to the cash register! I had no idea that they had the confetti cake, that looks like something my husband would love so we might have to come back for that! Any who we love crumble cookie we just try not to go very often due to the calorie intake but the cookies are quite amazing. My favorite cookie that they make is the golden Oreo and the s'mores cookie. If you get a chance stop it and try their Tres Leches cake, you will not be disappointed!

Ive heard great things about Crumbl Cookies so I was excited when they opened up in Peoria. Unfortunately, I’ve only had disappointing experiences thus far. The cookies are so big that you’re basically eating raw dough. I know some people are okay with that, but… it’s not for me. Especially considering how expensive they are.

This past week's selection was great. I went when they had an extra selection from the prior week I believe, not sure what they called it, I haven't been able to go due to illness and mobility issues. I appreciate that you offer curbside as it makes my life much easier. For some reason East Peoria doesn't.

The best thing from this visit was the mint mallow sandwich. Two chocolate cookies with a mint mousse in-between. I was worried the mint would be overpowering but it is just the right amount. I am not a huge fan of peppermint so I was worried it would be too strong and almost avoided it, but it was perfect.

The cherry cheesecake also surprised me. I figured at least the crust would be good, but cheesecake from a cookie place??? It was good too.

Then I also got the pink velvet cake and oatmeal skillet cookie. Their mousse on both that sandwich I mentioned earlier plus the mousse on the oatmeal skillet cookie were both top tier. I will keep a watch for more...
