To begin with, the traffic in this area was horrific. Maybe afternoon rush hour isn't a good time to go to this location? There were not a lot of people in line to order, but there was a wait. Then, the order taker seemed like she'd had too much sugar by talking too fast, and not listening to responses. I so hoped the food would be really good because Culver's does not send out coupons for more than a dollar, except the one BOGO for the Butter Burger. The cashier couldn't even explain the orering process for it or the shakes. I kept it as simple as possible. Give me the burger with LTM only and a vanilla cherry shake. I was given a number,( a water cu), and left standing. There was not anywhere to sit and wait. It seemed that there were interviews/tours going on. A gentleman ahead of me and I waited for quite some time. Though he was ahead of me, they brought a shake with my number and insisted it was mine. It had the open lid and no whipped cream or cherry. It also looked rather dark. I couldn't really tell. I didn't taste it. I was holding my water and was only given a spoon. Finally, the number before mine got his order, without his shake. I noticed someone walking around with a bag but not calling out a name(which they had). A good 14 mins into my wait, I was approached for a number check and given another shake. ??? All I got was a confused look from the worker. This shake was as unappealing as the first. When I asked about my burger. They then figured out the bag from earlier had my number. I had to leave by then. They allowed me to keep the wrong shake. My to go order was a bit sloppy by then. This is, after all, "Arrid-zonia". I was hoping I would love my food and forget about my ordeal. No. The burger was soggy, burnt, flat, crispy, (not the lettuce, but the tomato and burnt stuff). Shake #1 was half chocolate, half vanilla. Shake #2( which I ordered),was just vanilla with 3 cherries. Do they mix these things or not? Before the pandemic, I had used other locations, but never this one. This was my first visit after, and I wonder if it was just a bad day at this location. Or, is this location just not a good one? Have all the...
Read moreI typically have a great experience at Culvers and went to the location I know and trust most. I came in about 40 minutes before close and my boyfriend and I ordered what we wanted. He got a burger and I got the pot roast dinner. While ordering my mixer the cook from the back yells to the cashier that there is no more pot roast, he already took it off the heat for the night. I work in fast food. I know what that means. So I said it was fine, sucked but I'll choose something else. They both assure me that the pot roast IS safe and he just took it off 10 minutes ago. I insist I'll choose something else, but they insist I get the pot roast. Whatever, I'll microwave it at home. Order my mixer and got upsold on a drink I didn't want for full price. After ordering it takes about 10 minutes or so, I'm not sure. The part that bothers me is they called a manager over and were whispering something about my pot roast, looking over at us and looked concerned, then the manager said clear enough to hear "just put it on another plate, I'm sure it'll be fine" and didn't tell us the issue despite us both looking at them with concerned faces ourselves. Once the order was done another guy comes out with our food all bagged, gives me the wrong mixer and the drink I didn't want, takes my number marker and throws it on the counter while sighing with attitude. I went home, microwaved it on my own plate, and ate about half of it before concern made me throw it away. The drink I didn't want didn't get consumed and neither did the mixer. I'm incredibly...
Read moreI recently stopped by specifically for their root beer float. Granted, I certainly can do without having one, but they are really quite good. It brings me back to the days of the A&W root beer floats as a kid. In fact. Culver's root beer is probably as close to A&W's root beer as one can get. I've tried several of their value meal baskets and haven't been disappointed. The burgers are juicy, the fries are hot & plentiful and of course, I always go for the root beer.
As you can see from my previous rating, I changed my previous 5-star rating today (09/18/21) to a 3-star rating due to my most recent experience at this Culver's. Not being a fan of the drive-up windows due to finding later that my order usually was missing something, I opted to go inside. I ordered a 3-piece fish dinner to go and paid $14.17. I was handed my bagged order with the young lady confirming a 3-piece fish dinner. Shame on me, but I took her word and left. You can imagine how upset I was to get home only to see it was a 2-piece dinner.
Well, I called the phone number on the receipt only to get a message that they were busy and to leave a message. I left my message and haven't heard back. While I wouldn't expect a full refund, I did expect a return call...
