Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Peoria

Super friendly ladies working when I arrived. Although they were very busy and probably short an employee or two, they had positive attitudes and did their jobs with a smile. I did have to wait for a minute or two after entering, but not because I was unnoticed or being ignored. Right away one of the girls called out to me that she would be right there to help me. I felt acknowledged and as a customer, I appreciate that. I've been places that were slow and I didn't get looked at for atleast 10 minutes. Keep up the positive attitudes and excellent customer service. I appreciate yall and am thankful for the effort and hard work demonstrated by all of the staff while yall kindly go about preparing dinner for my family as well as so many others. That's no easy task. To see young people working hard, being pleasant and not complaining always puts a smile on my face and gives me hope for our future. So recently, without getting into specifics something happened that kind of botched some plans. It was totally out of this restaurants control. Mistakes happen, and while it was a bummer it wasn’t the end of the world. When I spoke to Alexus she was extremely apologetic and I could feel that she was genuinely sorry that things happened the way they did.We were pretty disappointed that day and we had no plans to return but she’s 100% earned our business back. A lot of the times businesses lack empathy, not here. Pizzas good, and the service is phenomenal. Thanks again Alexus.

Edit: Months later. The call center is the WOOOORST. Was charged $90 for what should have been a $60-$70 order. Came by to pick up and Michael offered to straighten things out with a coupon but couldn’t since I had already paid. Disappointed to say the least. Appreciate Michael...

Called to place an order and discovered they use an India call center. What, ordering pizza outsources to a call center!?! Decided to take our chances and place an order anyway, confirming multiple times that we were picking up off Bell near Sun City/Surprise area. Arrived at Hungry Howie’s and as expected they did not have our order. Couple of hours later I received a call from a different Hungry Howie’s asking if I was picking up the pizza. Explained I had no idea where the order was, I had a hard time understanding the person taking the order and no we had made other plans for dinner so would not be picking up the pizzas.
