Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Peoria

Jersey Mikes is one of our favorite places to eat. When we saw this location near our home, we were very excited. The first time we went in, they rudely informed me that they don't serve pastrami anymore. Didn't apologize that it is plastered all over the website, but whatever. I care less about the lack of a product, more about the delivery of the message. The second time, even though the store was completely empty, they did not address me. I awkwardly stood at the counter while a young man said something to his coworker across the store. It sounded like he was new. Whether you know your job parameters or not, saying hi to a fellow human who is standing in front of you would make sense. The young lady came over and asked for the order. I started reading it off to her, and after a moment she continued to stand in front of me instead of starting the order, so I took that as she wanted me to continue reading. She rudely waved her hand at me saying "we'll get to the condiments and toppings over there." OK. So, why were you just staring at me as if you wanted me to continue with the order? As much as I hate to say it, we will never come back to this location. Management should have caught this behavior long ago. Learn how to talk to customers before you collect a paycheck. So years ago I tried a different location.. and needless to say I wasn't satisfied at the other location. Fast forward to 2025 and Jersey Mike's Tuna sub went viral. So I thought I'd give them a second chance. They opened a brand new location, near the first of the year, at 83rd Ave and Thunderbird. Let me just say I am happy that I gave this location a try. The atmosphere was great. The crew was absolutely helpful (since it was my first time in at this location). They were open and welcoming. So I ordered (out of my comfort zone) the #10 Tuna, that came recommended in a viral vlog. And let me say I was absolutely satisfied with the sub! I was happy that a Jersey Mikes opened close to me on 83rd Ave & Thunderbird since we always went to another location that was further away prior. The service has been horrible. Tried to give it some time since they just opened and went back to see if it was better now but it’s not. After going three different times and having issues each time, I will not go back to this location. First time I tried to place an online pickup order, they put two pending charges on my card but said they never received the order. Second time they gave me the wrong sub and last time I waited a long time for my order. They kept giving everyone else their order and when I asked about my order they said we didn’t make it but...
