McDonald's — Restaurant in Peoria

Went through drive through at about 11:30 on a Wed night. Using a BOGO coupon from a coupon book featuring local restaurants and businesses. We've used coupons from the book at this location and others without incident. Tonight, at the menu board when ordering, the cashier told us over the speaker that it wasn't a coupon for a free value meal (with purchase of same of equal or greater value) rather, she informed us, it was only for a free sandwich, anything else would be separate and not part of the coupon deal. We informed her it was indeed for a BOGO VALUE MEAL. she insisted we misunderstood and continuously stated it was sandwich only. She then asked if the color of the coupon was blue, we said it was red. She asked us to pull fwd to the window where we presented the coupon which the same cashier who spoke to us previously stated was as we knew valid as a BOGO EXTRA VALUE MEAL. We finished placing our order and continued on to pay. The pick up window cashier was very pleasant and accommodating. We received our order in it's entirety, hot, fresh French fries, a lg caramel frappe (shake machine working!) Filled all the way up with whipped cream and caramel drizzle looking just as the menu photos advertise. The second cashier informed us the the former has indeed been with McDonald's a number of years at the specific location. She suggested that because the other employee generally worked day time hours and may not be familiar with the coupon we used or the book it came from. The 2nd employee was efficient, upbeat and cordial We left satisfied customers. There was a homeless man panhandling, soliciting customers in the drive through. He is often there harassing customers and attempted to get into the passenger seat of my vehicle one time, another time he positioned himself between the payment window and myself asking for money and the window attendant shouted at him that she would call the police if she had to ask him to leave their customers again. This was at least 6 mo prior to tonight's episode. You would think this McDonald's would have a no trespassing...

The service I received from McDonald’s last night on Knoxville was very sad , I also have a recording from the out of the store looks like it was a tornado I just knew some kids had been here and had a time , well I go into McDonald’s to place my order so me and my family can sit and eat as I’m walking in there is trash literally all over the floor on each table no where to sit drink station is filthy spilled drinks everywhere ranch sauce so on and so on you guys please check the cameras you’ll see , I went to lace my order as I’m placing my order I requested for a manager to speak with mind yoy I’m recording she doesn’t know I politely ask her if I could get some one to wipe tables down so me and my family can eat she looks me in my family face and says the store closes in 20 min she’ll wipe it down after the store closes and walks off so we are all sitting there and already placed our order sitting in disbelief I asked again so are we not allowed to sit and eat she says if you are uncomfortable you can leave , I was really in disbelief now because I asked was can someone wipe table so we can eat when she did that I said I’m not uncomfortable instill ordered I just would like a clean table to eat at , the manager goes and call the police and makes up this whole story says I come in there all the time causing mess I couldn’t believe my eyes we didn’t raise our voice we didn’t get smart or anything o couldn’t believe she was calling the police mind you im still recording ( glad I did ) police came see it and said they wanna kick you off the property I said I was leaving anyways idk why she called y’all I writing this to say stay away from Knoxville McDonald’s the cleanliness is negative 31 customer service 0 I had no respect giving nor service that...

I had an extremely bad experience with this place. I was trying to use a deal for 30% off of a quarter pounder. The lady in the drive-thru proceeded to tell me that my deal didn't work and then she wasn't able to avoid the deal so that I could use a different code. I know this to not be true because I have had to do it at a different McDonald's before. She was very snippy and rude to me and was trying to make me pay more for my meal than it would have been normally without the code. She kept saying Sarah once you've used the code you can't use another one again. I kept telling her obviously I'm not using the code if you just proceeded to tell me that the code didn't work with my meal. So she had a manager come up and they had the window closed and I heard her and the manager talking and the manager was like no we can't do that. Well then the manager tells me okay so I'm going to just do this so what was your order all over again. I just told him to void the whole thing and I don't even want to spend my money with that business. And now I still can't use my code at another McDonald's because they never voided it. It was a simple request nothing special and I was treated like dirt. Would not recommend this...
