Today I had the worst experience ever at this McDonald's getting my food right, the issue is it took 45 mins.to get my order right. I was so upset my blood sugar dropped waiting and blood pressure went up..Here's why. Went threw the drive threw, ordered a Big Mac combo, unsweetened Ice tea for my husband, and a Qaurter Pounder combo, medium, and an unsweetened Ice tea for me. I asked if I could have my frys hot and fresh, big mistake, but I've done it before at other McDonald's without any issues, I was told yes..proceeded to pay ,which came to 20 dollars and 38 cent. Crazy right? Drove up to the second window was given my teas and was told to pull up to any reserved parki g space that was available for my frys, which would be like 3 minutes cuz they just dropped them. Ok fine . Out of 5 reserved parking spaces only one was open because others were told to go wait on their orders as well. During my wait for my frys the cars already lined up were slowly but surely getting their food. I saw 4 cars go threw the drive threw, people leaving from inside with their food as I still sat waiting for my frys, now it's been 30mins not 3..Finally my food came, I careful checked the bag before letting The guy leave, (low and behold) my frys were cold and limp, and my teas were sweet. I told him and he said I'll go get it fixed.I waited another 10 minutes by this time Im getting upset because now its been 40 mintues for my 3min frys to be dropped. He brings me my new order but ( low and behold) it was wrong again. Not his fault. All I wanted in the first place was hot fresh frys, is that to much to ask for, a 3 minute thing, i was told to go wait now it has turned into 40 minutes. Wrong order twice, Really? and sweet ice tea which I'm a dietbectic and would never order..I finally was so frustrated that I took my receipt and food into the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. (.oh wait hold on, !!!!!) I was told to wait he was on the phone. REALLY!. I said well I've been waiting 45.mins by now, what's another 5. Manager comes out I told him my issue he stammer over his words and said I'll fix it.No I'm sorry no nothing, just took the bag and ran. He when back to the over packed work ing area in the kitchen of this new McDonald's, (as I could see back there) to fix my order, now it's number 3 to fix my order. He came out and gave me my order, I reviewed it to make sure it was right as he proceeded to tell me finally that he was sorry but gave me a few more orders of frys, for my in wait. LOL. like giving a dietbectic more frys to make things better. My blood suger dropped to 48 during my wait time as i have a DexComG7 and it was going off dinging giving me my signal that i was low, all I could do was get out of there to start eating as fast as I could those frys to get my blood suger up. I will never go to that McDonald's ever again, and that manager is the worst. That McDonald's needs to be shut down. Also the drive threw is a nightmare, when u pull uo there is no menu a person has to pull up McDonald's menu on ure phone to see what to actually order. Never again, not there...
Read moreThis review reflects on the recent reopening of this McDonald's location following extensive renovations, contrasting it with past experiences. Previous Experience: Approximately seven to ten years ago, this particular McDonald's consistently delivered an exemplary experience, standing out as arguably the best in the area. However, over time, there was a noticeable and significant decline in standards. Food items were frequently served cold, lacked flavor, and presented poorly. Customer service also deteriorated, with instances of unhelpful and unprofessional conduct from staff, including refusal to prepare certain items like ice cream or sweet tea due to perceived inconvenience. Post-Renovation Anticipation: The recent renovation and subsequent reopening of this establishment were met with considerable optimism. There was a strong hope that these changes would signify a commitment to transforming the restaurant and restoring it to the quality and operational efficiency expected from a reputable McDonald's franchise. Current Experience (July 4th, 2025): My recent visit today, July 4th, 2025, yielded a mixed impression. On a positive note, the drive-thru attendant demonstrated exceptional politeness and a highly commendable attitude, providing a pleasant interaction. However, this positive aspect was overshadowed by significant operational limitations. I was informed that the "Big Mac bundle" was unavailable, alongside a "laundry list" of other menu items that were regrettably out of stock or not offered. Furthermore, the digital menu boards in the drive-thru were non-functional, contributing to a less-than-ideal ordering experience. Consequently, I opted to seek dining elsewhere. Initial Conclusion & Future Outlook: While the current experience was disappointing, I recognize that the location has only been operational for less than a week post-renovation. It is reasonable to assume they are still in the process of scaling up to full operational capacity, and technical issues like non-functional menu boards are indicative of this transitional phase. Therefore, I am extending the benefit of the doubt. As of this moment, I cannot recommend this McDonald's location. I intend to revisit in a few months, allowing ample time for the establishment to resolve its initial operational challenges and fully integrate its new systems and staff. I will provide an updated review...
Read moreThis place does not deserve a star but to be able to record I have to do that I asked for a hot fudge sundae and a hot chocolate they put no hot fudge on the sundae. I complained and they told me I was being ridiculous I gave up the notice there was no whipped cream on the hot chocolate and they said it melted off but I like some more and they were being really smart about it I almost said no cuz I was afraid of the way they were acting but then I said yes and then when they handed it to me it was gone I didn't see any I actually thought I saw them put some on but they didn't then they mocked me some more they said ma'am about five times. I drove off thinking that I just won't ever go back there but then when I open the hot chocolate again it was just white milk it wasn't even hot chocolate so I went back through the line that took me 20 minutes the first time for another 10 minutes and ask for my money back I have it on tape if anybody wants to hear it and they told me that they would call the police cuz it's I was causing a problem by coming back through the line if I didn't leave they took the hot chocolate out of my hands but I still had the Sunday and wouldn't give it back to me and told me that I couldn't have my money back so I went home crying out my money, no food and a video. Also a valuable lesson learned. Never go to McDonald's ever again the food is horrible anyway... I was just never treated this badly before over nothing that I did.. My favorite thing is when I looked at the receipt it said I'd ask for no caramel drizzle and I didn't ask me if I wanted low-cal or regular milk like they usually do but I noticed the receipt said lolcow which I never would order I like the extra calories cuz I'm really thin... the horror that whole experience was enough to that I'm not sure I'll ever go to a drive-thru again not just McDonald's note the picture to have the guy taking my hot chocolate and wouldn't give it back to me his name was Wallace I could see it on his shirt but the guy who threatened me was an African American man that was much bigger and he said I was causing an issue all I said was it was I asked for my money back I wish I would have waited for the police but I was so embarrassed because I was crying that I was...
