Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Perham

I have Been to this Dairy Queen in perham mn 56573 many times the past year and they constantly mess up my orders. I don't have time to get the orders corrected because of the fact I pick it up right before I go to work and have no time for the unnecessary corrections. I have gotten many items and clearly said what I want and they repeat it back. I rarely recieve my orders correctly when I am there. For example I can order a 6 or a 4 piece and be under served by 2-3 pieces in my basket or on 2 rare occasions I have received 2-4 extra pieces in my basket. There are many countless times they didn't fulfill my order. There has been times I order a blizzard and they give me a completely different flavour. There have been times I order a something besides a basket on the menu and that item is completely missing from the bag. They are never too busy I see like 4-5 staff standing around talking when I drive up to the window or go inside so there should be no reason they can't complete an order correctly. When I go there I am paying for things I am not even getting. This was my original review 7 months ago with a 1 star.

I've been a customer here for over a decade, and one thing makes this place stand out above all others. The manners, hospitality, and politeness of their staff and employees. At the drive-thru, I say thank you, and they say "you're welcome." Even over the speaker after I just finish making my order.

Mistakes on my orders are uncommon and have always been during evening hours. If they make a mistake, they are quick to correct it and are always polite about it.

As for the food? I've been to other Dairy Queens. I don't go to other Dairy Queens anymore unless it's for ice cream. I never have any complaints ordering here.

Additionally, I have the experience of also having worked for them for a number of years. This was about a decade ago, but the owners and their father who previously owned it are all good people and I can see how the manners and politeness of their employees is a reflection of their leadership.

All in all, if you want a good Dairy Queen experience, this is the best DQ I've ever...

We had our three young grandaughters (10,6 &3) shopping last Saturday (3/5/22) and they wanted ice cream so we decided to stop at the DQ in Perham. We walked in and were immediately waited on and no one else was behind us in line. The girl's were having a hard time deciding what to order so it was taking a little bit of time reading what was on the menu. The women that was waiting on us was clearly impatient and "rolled her eyes" to her co-worker. I told her very nicely that it takes a bit with 3 little girls to figure out what to order. I guess that didn't matter to her and when we decided we were also going to order food she couldn't have been more annoyed with us. I almost left the restaurant but it would have disappointed my granddaughters so we stayed. Luckily our food was good and the granddaughters were happy with their icecream treats.
