My server Alton(?) was an exchange student from Turkey and was very gracious and attentive. He even fielded interview questions from my neighbor in the next booth with grace and thoughtfulness, and kept coming back to talk more, even though the older gentleman thought he was Barbara Walters and this very busy kid had all the time in the world for a cultural background investigation… asking the hard questions (‘do you eat turkeys in Turkey??’) Well done, young man. Keep showing the world your beautiful spirit. I know your loved ones are proud of you for many reasons. I ordered seafood Alfredo, French onion soup, and onion rings. O rings were fresh, not frozen, and delicious. French onion soup was flavorful and not too salty with lots of real cheese. Pasta was even better than I expected: creamy, rich and perfectly seasoned. My only complaint was that my raspberry iced tea was bland and tasted watered down. But it was fountain syrup, so I’m sure that’s not anyone’s fault. I’ll just order a different drink next time. Because I WILL be back. Thank you Dianna’s!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! You must try this out when you’re in town! This place is run so well and the service is out of this world. We weren’t expecting to be treated like family, but my goodness, it was like we were adopted as we stepped in. The food - omg! So darn good! We couldn’t stay away after the first experience so we have had many different offerings at all hours of the day! It’s truly to die for! Order came out quickly and perfectly. I’m picky and they complied with every request. Just WOW! The service - it didn’t matter who served us, each one of the 4 servers we had was just phenomenal!! They are so diligent and such amazingly hard workers! I believe they all checked in on every table several times in their section to ensure everything turned out well! It also is not common to see the owner of the restaurant there and greeting all tables, and his kindness is out of this world. If you go here, I guarantee you will return! Please bring this to Cincinnati! And include at least a few of the servers!

I’m going to be honest I don’t think I’ve ever had something this bad. Although the waitress was friendly, my family and I went here after cedar point hoping for some easy food but it was the complete opposite. Not only was the food bad we had to wait almost an hour for our bill since they didn’t have their system running (which had been down for days). I’m a waiter myself and I understand things can be hard when that happens but we paid for $77 for a meal we couldn’t even finish due to how bad the food was. I don’t know honestly you might as well go to the Pizza Hut across the street you’ll have better luck. Update: We ended up leaving the restaurant without the check and gave them the cash we were told was the amount. After reading more reviews I realized we most likely got overcharged for some random things since we only ordered about $50 worth of food (that’s calculated with tax) and we paid $77.

Finally found a FANTASTIC diner less than 10 mins driving from Cedars Point. Was extremely pissed off at the skyrocket prices at the restaurants and even the food stands in the park. Food in the park and around the park will cost u no less than 20 bucks per person for crapy burgers or chicken strips and fries with a soda. Even ate at TGIFRIDAYS next to the park which was overpriced and had bad service. Diminos pizza wanted 25 bucks for a large pizza. I was feeding a family of 4 and eating twice a day around the park cost 200 bucks a day. Found Dianna's on my 3rd day at the park after reading reviews. We drove there about midnight and a cop pulled us over for having high beam lights on at night which is against the law in Sandusky and let us go wit a warning and even the cop highly recommended we eat at Dianna's, and we were at the diner less than 10 mins after leaving the park. Our waitress name was Nicole and she gave us great service. Four full size meals that was so good we all ate every crumb off our plates. Total bill was 37 bucks for 4 entrees and sodas. First time I didn't feel ripped off over food while on my trip. I been cooking all my life and I couldn't have done a better job. The menu is massive and just about every entree is under 9 bucks. The menu that comes up on Google is only a fraction of what they really serve. U can eat there 3 times a day for a whole weekend and get something different each time. I had 3 pancakes, 2 scrambled eggs, country fried steak, roasted potatoes and Apple juice for 11 bucks. Didn't leave not one crumb on the plate nor did the rest of my family with their entrees. We finally all felt very well satisfied and stuffed. I'm positive I'll only eat at diannas for my future visits to Sandusky. Ask for Nicole when u go. She's a seasonal summertime worker who I'm sure would be my permanent waitress every visit for me. I been in the restaurant/bar industry for 17 years and was also observing the other employees in the diner and everyone was doing a exceptional job. Thumbs up to...

So this restaurant I think deserves a visit. So I’m on vacation in Sandusky Ohio because I got Cedar Point tickets through my work right. And thought we (My girlfriend and I) could grab a quick bite to eat. Our meals we ordered were some kind of fettuccine pasta with chicken and ricotta cheese for me and she got ravioli. Both entrees came with soup and salad. Those came out to our table in seconds but both of our soups were cold and over half of my soup was on the plate it came on and not in the bowl. And my salad was dry lettuce and a small little plastic cup of dressing. And our dishes by the way were dirty and I was already irritated with the large group of people next to us at another table being favorited and getting their food before us even though they came in a good solid 20 minutes after us. We were there for over an hour and never received our main dishes so we went to the desk and made a complaint and our waitress said “they just started making your dishes” as we were walking out. Mind you there were few tables with people. Maybe 4 tables tops with old couples at them. And the waitress even said their cooks are “shit”. So I’ll know for sure to never come to this restaurant to eat again. I’m sorry for the long post but I believe this needs to be addressed. I’ve never walked out of a restaurant before receiving my main dish before but my appetite was ruined from the commotion of the group next to us, watching people come into the restaurant after us and receive their meals before us, and how freezing cold it was. I was shivering the whole time in there. Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in all my life. On the bright side our cold soup and dry salad were free. Literally looked like I was served someone else’s leftovers — at Dianna's Deli & Restaurant. Sorry it’s worded so weird, this was posted...

This past weekend I stopped into Dianna's after reading how good this restaurant was. I will say the food was great, but the service was terrible. Upon walking into the restaurant, we were never greeted nor spoken to. The host/cashier had just been brought what looked like a pick up order and was in a conversation with the server that had brought it over. They continued this convo even with us standing right there. While we are standing there another couple came up to pay and stood their waiting while they continued their talk. The couple became frustrated and interrupted them so they could pay. They paid, left, and we still stood there without a word being said to us. Eventually we asked if we could just seat ourselves because she was not concerned with us whatsoever. She just said no I will seat you. She finally sat us after a good ten minutes of standing there, we were literally going to walk out.. The server and I had misunderstanding of what I had ordered and the order was wrong, she took the plate away rolling her eyes. During this time I had asked for a glass of water....I never received it. When we got there the restaurant was not busy what so ever. While we were there our server did get sat two large tables, but by this time we had already put our order in...we should have been a breeze to finish out. Yet we got ignored and sat there finished with our plates off to side for a good 15minutes before she finally gave us our bill. I tried getting her attention and she wouldn't even look our way. Extremely frustrated by the lack of customer service. I work as a serve so i'm critical of other serves and this was just terrible. I would seriously hate to be there when this place gets busy because that was a...
