Cervantes Fiesta Mexican — Restaurant in Perris

After driving by this place for a few months we finally decided to try it. We went on a Saturday around 4ish pm and it was very quiet. They only had the TV on which I didn't mind cause we have a two year old and only half of the dining room was available to sit in. I'm guessing they open the other half on bussier days 🤷 Me and my husband ordered the Camarones Costa Azul and to our surprise the food was freaking awesome!!! The beans were bomb and the rice was almost as good as my momma's. We also ordered oysters and there where also good. The waiting time was a lil long but the awesome tasting food made up for it. During a visit with friends I was happy to taste the very fresh oyster platter, and very cold Corona beer. I followed up with the carne asada Taco's. I found them very good. The meat was very fresh, tender, well seasoned.Double tortillas, on the crispy side. Not my style, but no complaints. I must say I didn't find anything negative to say about the restaurant. The waitress was attempting to please all tables. She could use some support. We went looking for her twice. We had a group of 10 people. A little confused how many people were being allowed inside while in this state of Covid-19. 10⭐ If I could give negative stars , Took about 20 min for someone to come take order only because I went and asked if they come to table or I order at register, tables have number so you would think they take your order on table they took about30 minutes to bring first plate out and about another 20 minutes to bring out last plate chilaquiles, I guess they did not know how to make them ,We ordered some tacos, fajitas and chilaquiles plate the fajitas looked like it was frozen fajitas from a bag , chilaquiles where only ships with cheded cheese and a nasty tasting salsa on top, over priced food 60 for 3 plates food not good service honorable and over priced I will never go back to this place or recommend they need to close...
