The evening acting supervisor (Jessica) was VERY rude to my guests that I had treated for dinner. One of my guests ordered a side of something else and she not only was dissatisfied with the taste but felt we were cheated on the amount of the side for the price being charged. When she brought her concern to the acting evening supervisor (Jessica), she not only demonstrated very poor customer service, she said that there was nothing she could do to rectify the situation; nor did she apologize for the poor taste of the food. She never offered to bring another batch of a fresh side, or a monetary compensation for the inconvenience. Instead, she explained that we were to pay for the side even if we did not eat it, or brought to her attention that we were dissatisfied with the taste of the food. She added that a monetary compensation nor a fresh batch of food is something that IHOP does NOT do for its customers. (I personally know from other IHOP locations that this is COMPLETELY FALSE). She displayed herself with arrogance, and was speaking down to the people at our table. I can not emphasize how extremely rude she was to the point that even the other 3 tables around us took notice, and even commented of how shocked that a person with those manners got to be in charge of the staff. As we were leaving (& were stiffed with the bill) we ran into another customer that was also dissatisfied with the same person (Jessica), and shared that she and her daughter had a very similar experience. On the other hand our server Ana was VERY polite, attentive, friendly, displayed excellent customer service, and even was apologetic for the behavior of her acting evening supervisor. She did not have to do this, yet she demonstrated the pride in her job. The gentleman behind the register / host was also friendly and apologetic for the behavior of the acting supervisor (Jessica), and expressed concern for the dissatisfaction of our experience. Again, another employee that takes pride in there job, and knows the true meaning of customer service. It's sad that the acting supervisor (Jessica) does not display the fundamentals or proper etiquette to perform her job adequately. Ā Ā Ā Read moreSpend 2 hours Christmas day during lunch, 20 min waited for a table. Cool. Then we got drinks within 5 mins. Way to go guys. We ordered. But after that nothing 45 mins of nothing just coffee. Lucky it was on hot pot on the table. Sure it was busy but it died off never saw our waitress around figured break but nope. The waiter on the other table then came to us and began helping us. Then our waitress shows up with our food. Askes if we need anything I said refills and napkins, she left and came back no napkins then we told again and left and went to another table. š at this point it has been 1:30 into it. Food was ok, small portions, over priced of course we pay for the name. At the cashier we brought to the managers attention and she said it was strange no one was assign breaks during that time. So she gave us the coffee for freeš¤ ok, I enjoyed the coffee never ran out. Why. I am not a negative person, im very optimistic, and believe in 2nd Chance.
2 yrs ago we ate here and I order and omelet and found 4 cube 3/8" size in it, told the manager about it and said "we dont cook with Plastic and cant imagine how it could have gotten there". No solution. Im over this place.

I wrote down what to get, he gave the paper to the lady, I specifically asked for red potatoes! he brought back hash-browns, I called and asked why I had hashbrowns instead of red potatoes she said I read the paper is best I could the writing wasn't that good. So now my husband is on his way to go get what I asked for, and I asked for avocado and cheese as a courtesy to us having to go back. Because they messed up the order. She said "It cost more" I said "That's not our problem that the order wasn't made correctly." Her name is Sherry I believe, I asked her if she was a manager she said "yes". I would think that cheese and avocado would be no problem, seeing how they messed up the order. I to being a manager, would think sure we messed up so here's a piece of avocado, and a sprinkle of cheese for your eggs. But that's not what happen, we will not be going to this IHOP any more.
