I'd say this place almost felt like a hospital, if not for how dirty everything was. I walked in and immediately noticed how barren the restaurant was.
When we went up to order, the employee spoke so softly that I could barely understand him over the the strange music blaring over the speakers. My fiancee ordered a Tangerine Twist drink and the employee looked at her, confused like it wasnt on the menu directly above his head, then just gave her a fountain drink cup. "Alright," we figured, "it must be a selection on the fancy Coke machine."
It was not.
The Coke machine shared the same vibe as the staff, acting confused when asked to do its job. We were able to use the selection screen just fine, but the button to dispense the drink barely worked. The ice maker also seemingly had some kind of mild insect problem, as I had to fish out a bug from my drink before putting on a lid.
After 5-10 minutes of admiring the large blank wall next to the counter, our food was ready. The employee behind the counter wordlessly pointed to me after briefly making eye contact, and for a moment I felt what Ebeneezer Scrooge felt when visited by the Ghost of Christmas Future, confusion and dread.
My frosty took a bit longer. There was a loud, rythmic mechanical whine that cut through the music that I assume was the Frosty machine begging for the sweet release of death to free it from this strange place.
When I did finally get my Frosty, I received it without a spoon and the employee disappeared back into the kitchen. I took stock of my barren surroundings, and quickly found that there were no utensils out anywhere. I had to wait a few mins for the employee to return to ask for a spoon. I was again met with a confused look, but the employee wordlessly complied.
Once I sat down, I was unsurprised to find that I was short-changed on my 10pc nugget, but at this point I was just ready to eat and get as far away as possible. Fries were also criminally unsalted, bland as the blank walls of the restaurant.
Overall, a strange and uncomfortable experience. I will not...
Read moreThis restaurant is absolutely horrable. Walked inside to place an order to go at 11am today. A manager was training a new employee at the register. The manager asked if my order was eat in or carryout to which I replied carryout. The manager completed the order on the register and another employee placed it on a tray. I had to remind her that it was carryout so that it could be placed in a bag for carryout. The person in line behind me was with me and placed an order for carryout as well. Good thing the person in line was with me as when we got out to the car they had some of my food in her bag and some of her food in my bag. However, After attempting to eat, this so called food, I wish they would have given all of our food to someone else. The food was cold and had 2 slices of dried up cheese on both sandwiches ( which was ordered without cheese) and both the hamburger and fries were cold. They just literally opened when we placed our order, how in the heck could it be cold? I think it was left over from the day before. So not only did I pay for food that I couldn't eat, but I also paid for cheese that I didn't order and I paid tax for takeout. I really think the manager needs to learn what she is doing before she trains anyone in this restaurant. While waiting for my cold food, I couldn't help but notice how rundown the resturant was and how health standards were not followed, as there was an employees jack laying across the back food counter and large areas of paint was missing from the walls. Needless to say, I will never come back and if I were the employee that was being trained I would run as...
Read moreAnother disappointing visit. The girl at the window must have been new but that does not excuse the fact that she argued with me over the size of a medium cup. She gave me a small and proceeded to tell me that was all they had when I can clearly see through the window at the medium cups. Then she argued about the strawberry lemonade saying it was from the fountain. It was not. It was the fresh. Which personally I think is disgusting. The minute made strawberry lemonade is the only thing any of lima Wendy's has to offer. The manager came and tried to rectify the situation but instead gave me a large regular hand squeezed lemonade. At this point I was already so irritated a rude little girl had me arguing with her over lemonade, I just left it alone. Arriving home no more than 10 min later my girlfriend pulls out her sandwich! And the bun is rock hard. The large fry wasn't anywhere near full and the chicken nuggets were refused even by my dog... if they can train someone to learn what the minute made lemonade for the fountain is, I'll return for that...
