Read moreFood was great, and the main bartender, Danielle was great. However I was very taken back by the unprofessional and rude behavior from the two owners, or what I assume to be the owners. The lack of awareness and care for their customers is evident. They seem more interested in social hour than happy hour. Sitting, eating, and talking to what I can only assume are regulars for close to half an hour before going to the next person to talk with. At one point, I saw the chef come out to ask a question to one of the owners, only to have her met with a very snappy and rude tone back to the chef, saying she was interrupting her conversation with a customer. Seems to me like the employees are treated quite poorly, but they are the ones carrying this establishment. I will not be returning and will spread the word around town, as I would like to have my money go to someone who treats their employees and customers properly. Plenty of better mom and pop restaurants to...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to check this place out after we heard great things about their prime rib. We went in for lunch and were fortunate enough to be able to order it even though it was only on the dinner menu. Our waitress Kendra and the chef worked their magic and we're lucky they did because it was our last day in town. It was delicious and the portion size was a great value for the asking price. Plus it came with sides which increasingly seems like a rarity these days with something like a steak or prime rib. We don't drink but they had a nice bar next to the dining room, and some TVs with sports on if you're looking for that. The restaurant is within walking distance of a lot of great things to see and do as well. We'll definitely be back the next time we are in town and I look forward to it. Needless to say I highly recommend checking out Torches...
