We were excited to try L'Oro Di Napoli, and everything was really good. I feel like I should begin with the atmosphere, which is decorated very nicely and has a great energy, but the acoustics are terrible. The tables are really close together and you have to raise your voice to be heard, so you can't help but hear your neighbors' conversations. Our waiter apparently had trouble hearing us as well, because we received a different entree than we ordered, but to their credit, they quickly remedied it with the correct dish. All that is to say if you're looking for a place to talk privately with your partner, this might not be the place. However, if you enjoy talking with other tables, this is definitely the place! We were delighted to see a Hugo spritz on the menu, but we were disappointed when it arrived without fresh mint. We immediately questioned if it was in fact a Hugo, and he told us they were out of fresh mint. A few minutes later someone seated at the bar received a Hugo with fresh mint! Our waiter might have noticed that we noticed the sudden appearance of mint and he let us know they now had fresh mint! I guess they could get supply deliveries on a Saturday evening, but the entire exchange just seemed off. And that's the end of what I consider my nitpicking, so on to the food. I had seen an earlier menu and was looking forward to trying the montanare, but they've since been removed from the menu. Our waiter seemed disappointed they'd been removed too! So we asked for his recommendations and pretty much went with them. We really enjoyed the balsamic vinegar butter served with the bread and I can't wait to have it again. The arancini were really good and packed with flavor. Our entrees (branzino and fusilli) and desserts (tiramisu and torte della nonna) were also really good. The balsamic vinegar butter was the thing we were still talking about as we left. I look forward to returning and giving the pizzas a go.

We made the drive up from San Francisco to try this new gem out, after some friends strongly recommended it. And boy oh boy....it was a great experience! The place is very well put together, with the goal or trying to recreate a traditional Italian alley with balconies and window shutters. The bar also is a cool attraction and despite only serving light alcohol drinks, the selection is impressive. We had a glass of Sparkling Rose to start and it was phenomenal. We had the Truffle croquettes, a Patate e Porchetta pizza and a Branzino in crosta. I heard great things about the pizza here and I have to say it's probably the best I've eaten so far in the Bay Area. I'm a big fan of porchetta and seeing it on the menu made my day. The branzino was very delicate, but it paired well with the potato crust, olives and the veggies on the side. We also had a Torta della Nonna dessert, which didn't make it to the photo step because my son attacked it right away, but that was also pretty authentic and a nice end for the meal. One mandatory note it to say that the service is excellent, staff is always kind and offering a warm smile to everyone. Highly recommended, we'll definitely come back again.

If you're searching for an authentic Italian dining experience that transcends the ordinary, look no further than L'Oro Di Napoli new location in Petaluma. As someone who has frequented the Santa Rosa location, I arrived with high expectations, and I can confidently say that L'Oro Di Napoli has once again delivered a full immersive experience that is nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you step inside, the dedication of the entire team is palpable. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between warmth and originality, setting the stage for an unforgettable feast. We started with the calamari, and as someone who's quite particular about how they're prepared, I was blown away. Perfectly fried to a golden crisp, each piece was tender and seasoned just right--something that can be hit or miss at many other establishments. It was evident that the kitchen takes pride in their craft. Next, we had the Brussels sprouts, which you would assume that it would be a cliche mere side dish. However, they were elevated to new heights, reaching per se the highest potential of what you can do with a a brussel sprout; Each bite revealed a depth of flavor that people don't know Brussels sprouts could achieve. It's clear that the chefs at L'Oro Di Napoli put thought and creativity into every dish. The meatballs were another highlight. They were a comforting revelation, bursting with flavor and made with a clear passion for traditional Italian cooking. The authenticity was undeniable, and you could truly taste the homemade flavor that is into making them. And if somewhere words can, taste and energy never lie. Now, let's talk about the pasta. This time, I tried the Pappardelle al Tartufo. As soon as I took my first bite, I experienced what can only be described as a moment of silence. I made my friends promise not to speak to me for a few minutes to me so I could fully savor the rich, luscious sauce that clung to the perfectly cooked pasta. If I could, I would happily drink that sauce straight from a bottle every day! It was an experience that transported me straight to untouched horizons. To round off our meal, we indulged in the tiramisu. Just like everything else, it felt homemade and authentic. The layers of flavor and texture created a delightful end to our dining experience, leaving us with smiles on our faces. What truly sets L'Oro Di Napoli apart is not just the food, but the people behind it. The staff exudes a warmth and genuine love for their craft that enhances the entire experience. Their wine knowledge was impressive, and they were eager to pair the perfect bottle to complement our meal, further showcasing their dedication to satisfaction. In a world filled with Italian restaurants, L'Oro Di Napoli shines as a unique gem. It's not just a place to eat; it's a celebration of life, Italian culture, and cuisine. Every aspect, from the food to the service, reflects a commitment to excellence. I can't wait to return and try everything on the menu--if you're in Petaluma, do yourself a favor and experience L'Oro Di Napoli. You will be uplifted the way you didn't know...

My friend and I attended our dinner reservation and were very excited to try this restaurant. We were sat at a rather small table behind a curtain next to the bar close to the main door. There were constantly employees and delivery drivers coming in and out of this curtain and we found it to be very hectic. We ordered 2 apps and 2 entrees and 40 minutes later - still had no food. The waiter came back to our table telling us the kitchen lost our ticket but our apps were on the way. We were convinced he did not put our order in since he headed straight to the ticket computer (which is an honest mistake but just be honest, we appreciate that more) Once we finished the apps, the waiter said to let him know when we were ready for our entrees. He disappeared from our table and we had to flag him down another 20 minutes later to ask if they had been put in (if they were not, we were going to ask for the check). They arrived and we asked for a to go box since we were not enjoying our time and he stated to have a slice and then we can have a box. From the first mix up to the final goodbye with the check, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the errors. This would have gone a long way and made up for some of the experience. Overall, we were not satisfied and will not be returning or recommending. It is a shame since this conveys as a very super place to spend time with...
