My wings tasted super tough as if it was really old. Particularly, the skin was so chewy and leathery that I had to peel most of it off, which is unfortunate because the sauce is on the skin. Also,I ordered a Philly cheese-steak to compare it to the Philly cheese-steak shop down the street. The following is a description of the sandwich;
Non-traditional, stiff bread roll cut completely in half lengthwise. Inside the sandwich, imagine a helping of beef and broccoli, the strip steak, the teriyaki sauce, but minus the broccoli. On top of this was an overly-hefty portion of melted Monterrey jack cheese garnished with an obscene amount of grilled onions and mushrooms (which did not compliment the Philly cheese-steak).
I had driven 45 minutes from Occidental to try the only locally owned buffalo wing restaurant, and was so severely disappointed that I just threw most of my food away rather than eating it. Please just go to Philly Cheese Steak down the street if your wanting a good sandwich. The only good thing here was the wing sauce. If they actually used quality meat instead of being cheap and trying to make us sick, then I'd say their wings would be...

We ordered the biggest bucket they had. 50 wings. When I found out it came with 1 ranch or 1 Blue cheese, and saw the size was tiny, I laughed and asked for a couple more since it was their biggest bucket and supposed to be for like 4 people. He said no problem and threw them in.
Well, after asking for an itemized receipt after I paid because the bill seemed high, I was charged three additional $2.99's for an extra $8.97 for three extra small side dressings. Are you kidding me? I could buy 2 full size grocery store size dressings for that. Listen, tell me it's gonna be $2.99 each and I would have passed and said no way, but thanks for letting me know. But not tell me, charge me, then get caught and act surprised? Nope. Not cool. I won't be back. And I told all my friends that night I was bringing the wings to the story too. Lame.
You got two stars because your wings are awesome. You lost 3 stars for stupid pricing and HIDING THE INFLATED COST TILL...
Read moreIf you're on the hunt for seriously good burgers and wings, Original Buffalo Wings is the spot. Yes, the prices are a bit higher than what you might expect, but let me tell you, the quality and flavor are worth every penny. The burgers are juicy and perfectly cooked, and the wings? Absolutely spot-on with that authentic Buffalo kick. And don’t even get me started on their homemade CHIPS – they’re the best around, hands down. Crunchy, flavorful, and just the perfect side to their already amazing menu.
It's one of those places you hope never changes and stays around forever because, honestly, finding a spot that nails burgers, wings, and homemade chips like this is rare. Every time I go, I'm reminded of why it's worth the extra bucks.
Here's to hoping Original Buffalo Wings keeps doing its thing for many, many years to come. If you appreciate quality and taste that doesn't cut corners, this is your place. Trust me, it's...
