Went in yesterday at 11 a.m. and the barista was so rude. I went up to the cash register and said hi how’s it going and she just stared at me, so my friend and I ordered. She forgot my beignets and after I waited ten minutes I got back in line and politely asked about them she grabbed them from the case dumped them in a bag and handed it to me not saying sorry or asking if I wanted them heated up. There was also no one else in the shop so they weren’t busy. My friend wanted to pay for some sweetener for her drink because it was really bitter and the barista was super rude about it. When we said thank you she didn’t say anything. When we left we said bye thanks and her and the other girl making drinks in the back just glared at us. I even tipped 20%. Coffees weren’t anything special and my beignets were cold. My friends drink burnt her mouth it was so much hotter than mine and we both got lattes. The interaction was comically bad. I’ve worked in customer service my whole life and I’ve never been that rude to...
Read moreI am absolutely in love with this place! I have been dying for a place like this to open in Petaluma. The coffee is amazing. My go to is the cold brew with lavender. It's so fresh and NEVER has a burnt or overly sweet taste. It's just right. I've had their mochi donuts and have loved every single one. If you haven't tried them, you have to. The Thai wrap is good and the pesto egg sandwich is a go to for me. I recently got beans from them and the girls working told me how they roast their own beans and know the farmers who grow them!! Trust me, you can taste the quality and love. Lastly, and I don't want to tell you this because I want to keep it for myself, but there is the cutest sitting nook in the back where I find myself on most Fridays because I find that working from home can get to be a bit much. To top it all off, Nicole and Maddy are excellent batistas! They are kind and are genuine! I'm telling you, this place is perfect and just right for me. Call...
Read moreThis is my local coffee shop. It’s in a tough location to turn a profit, and their coffee is very good. I like that a portion of the money spent there goes towards cancer__?__, but it would feel a lot better if they at least had a sign along the lines of “$X.00 donated to [cancer research] last year” or something similar…otherwise it seems like a gimmick. As someone who’s been drastically affected by cancer, let us know what this money is being used for…especially considering the exorbitant prices you charge. One other thing worth mentioning…Understanding that food costs are high, and that wasted food is profits lost, your pastries are a complete joke. Shame on me for giving it a 4th try this morning, but it’s consistently a let down. Bad grocery store level pastries for double the price that I could get at Whole Foods next door. I really hope you guys can make it work there, but you need to make some changes to keep the doors...
