Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Pflugerville

Order 1 nacho taco, and a Number 12 -no mayo no tomato add ranch. comes with a fry and a drink. Guy didnt give me my cup moved on to next customer no big got my cup moved on.

about 15 minutes later (4 tables of 2 or 3 people no line in drive through) Food comes out taco smashed in 4 pieces, no fries, sandwich has mayo tomatoes and no ranch.

go up explain my case they make me another taco and meal.

16 minutes later ( I set up a timer this time) I've watched the employees take out the trash, mop the floor like it's a broom flinging water around, wipe tables and not one changed their gloves.. Sooooo..

food comes out taco in one piece, sandwich has tomatoes and no sauce. Whatever I start eating finish the sandwich and taco and realize they didnt include the fries again! By this time my family has been done for 20 minutes and I'm livid. We leave and go to the movies, half way through I get a dizzying migraine, I cant focus my eyes on the screen, my stomach is doing flips, I feel suddenly ill like im about to vomit. 40 dollars and a potential poisoning later. I feel lucky to be alive. This place is one health inspector visit away from being shut down and I have half a mind to call them myself. They cant even fix a meal the first time nor the subsequent times. Hire a new staff before someone gets hospitalized...

I used to like this particular drive thru much more than I do currently which sparked my review in 11/2024. I respect the evening crew for being so friendly and for getting our order/sandwich details correct- we always have customer orders to make and the burgers are cooked well and the beef & chicken sandwiches are delicious. However items like fries, tacos, and our favorite churros have been awfully over cooked (with a funny smell) and mostly inedible our last three orders and it’s becoming a trend on weekday evenings between 5-7 pm. We got a few bad orders in 9/2024-11/2024 and we were hoping it was just a few hiccups but began noticing it was always weekday evenings. I hope this review just helps the management notice things (I have called the 1-800 number and haven’t noticed changes) and I’ll be happy to update this review if we see changes :)

As a big family- We love the large variety menu at Jack n the box- everyone can find something to eat! Our kid likes their nuggets but they have been terrible. Even the tacos have been a bust :( which is always a dependable way ten. The only fried item that has been good is the egg rolls. We are hoping to see some changes as we love the service and...

Honestly, nothing uniquely exceptional about the experience. It was late at night or early in the morning, however you want to look at it. I had just gotten off work & was hungry. My normal Jack in the Box was closed, temporarily, due to a computer issue. So, I traveled a little further, down the road, to this location. There was little wait, due to the time of day. My curly fries were hot & fresh. The Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger was nothing to write home about, but there was something about the way I was served by the woman, working the drive thru, that night. Again, nothing really unique or exceptional about the experience. She was just doing her job, being courteous, & asking appropriate follow questions, to make sure my needs were met, but she did it in a way & with a tone, in her voice, that made this weary & hungry customer, feel noticed & appreciated. Like she recognized that we're both out here, late at night, trying to make ends meet & she wanted to do her best, to treat me, in the way that she would want to be treated, because she can relate.
