The employee (Carrisa, I think was her name) was rude & extremely short & abrupt with her responses. I had an issue with an online order and she acted as if I was bothering her by trying to ask her what I needed to do or what she could do. After she raised her voice saying I had to wait till after she finished making everyones sandwiches (3 people & about 25 min.) and I was now next, a man walked in & she proceeded to ask him what he wanted & serve him in front of me!!! I then stepped up & said "hey you told me I had to wait till you finished with the people that were here in the store but came here AFTER I put my order in online and now your looking at serving this man who just walked in" !!!!! So, she rolled her eyes 🙄🙄 as far back as they would go & finally stepped over to help me. She also did not know what the sandwich was that I had ordered ( I think it was called a Dangerwich), I told her it was on the online menu and proceeded to show her on my phone and she acted as if she didn't care. She was extremely rude 😬 & even though it is the closest Subwayto my home, literally about 7 minutes I intend to go to the next closest location in the future............not the near future!! It took so long to get things straight and get my order that my spouse literally called me to see if I was all right since I had been gone ONE HOUR!! REALLY!!! P.S. The meatball sandwich was pretty tasteless! Also, I ordered my other sandwich dry and asked for 2 or 3 Chipotle mayos on the side to which she abruptly stated " we don't have any little containers"! I noticed some clear small cups on the counter behind her and asked if she could use that to give me some. 🙄🙄 After some more eye rolling she begrudgingly grabbed one and squirted in a smidgen. I asked for more and showed her on the cup at least to here and she said "I'm not gonna give you my bag of sauce"!! I measured when I got home & took a picture....she gave me ONE ounce for my large sub. ...
Read moreDisappointing experience at this Subway. I ordered a 6-inch sub on Italian bread and a footlong on flatbread, both toasted. The 6-inch was a menu item, and I was customizing the footlong (flat bread). The employee, who seemed new, placed the protein and cheese vertically and folded it “burger style” after asking a coworker who confirmed (incorrectly) that it was right. I didn’t want to give him a hard time, so I let it go.
When I got in my car I realized I was charged for a footlong meal (which was actually my 6-inch) and an additional wrap — even though I never asked for a wrap. When I questioned it, no one working knew how to issue a refund. One of them (the new employee ) called the manager and handed me the phone. After 20+ minutes of back and forth trying to void the transaction, I told them I just wanted my money back and didn’t want the food anymore.
I got my refund (voided ticket) about an hour later, which is still pending on my account.
Unprofessional, untrained staff, and poor customer service. The store was also extremely hot inside — no wonder no one is ever eating inside. I won’t be returning and will gladly go out of my way to visit a...
Read moreI haven’t eaten the food yet. I am wondering why, in a pandemic, they’re making people who have ordered online still sign a receipt to get their food. Beyond that, I watch a guy hand a pen to the woman in front of me, she signed, he handled the pen again, and then proceeded to use the exact same gloves to prepare my food. Rinse and repeat. I understand the pain about changing gloves so much, so here’s an idea: DON’T HANDLE FOOD. Or better yet, STOP procedures which include mandatory contact!
So I’ve waited patiently for people to wear their masks, clean their hands, so my kids can go to school and the economy get fixed, but I guess we’re just too proud and defiant to allow this country to get healthy again. Thanks for that.
Update: a few days later, I see the same guy shopping at Walmart with his subway gear on and walking back to subway with his gloves on. I will...
