I visited Red Roosterās once last year, and I had a great time. I donāt drink much but the atmosphere was great. My spouse and I hit up plenty of karaoke bars pretty often and I thought this one was great- at first. The second time we visited was a few months later, February 2025. We attended a wedding and a few guests decided to head over to Red Roosterās to end the night. I was excited because I had a good experience previously. Well, it saddens me to say this was by far the worst bar/karaoke experience I have ever had. First, the bartender was so rude, right off the bat. She told a few members of our group, āI am NOT serving yāall!!ā Again, I donāt really drink but I know a few had been drinking. I gathered as much information as I could as to why she may have done that- Iām guessing she was overwhelmed by the amount of people that walked in at once, as she was the only bartender there. Thatās understandable but still, very unprofessional and unnecessary. We were patiently waiting, there was no need for the hostility. She was rude several other times, ultimately she ended up serving us although I would have preferred for her to not scream at us. Secondly, this is not the barās issue, but āKJ Hannahā - worst KJ ever. She was very rude when we requested songs, she took 10-15 minutes in between singers to call them up. She also sang about 4-5 songs- no offense but I did not come to see Hannahās concert. Sheās a great singer but Iāve seen KJās sing typically 1-2 songs max. Anyway, we were celebrating a close friendās life milestone just to end the night really crummy. Unfortunately Red Roosterās is out of my rotation, for now. Hopefully the bar owner can speak to their staff and make some improvements. Would love to give them...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love this place, if not for the super friendly, welcoming bar staff, I'd have to say it just makes you feel like you're a regular like everyone else... Like it's your bar you've been going to for years, even on your first visit. I could be persuaded to give the 5th star for a couple more strategically placed dart boards, maybe in the back where there's less traffic than where the one currently stands, by the dj booth, and maybe the bathroom sink outside the stall, as it isn't currently, in the women's room, but really not deal breakers for me. The bathroom has never been dirty when I've gone and y'all know how some ladies can get in a rather small bathroom after they've been drinking their give- a -damn -remover.... Leaving stuff behind all over the place. Tsk tsk... But I haven't seen that here. Ok could also go for some karaoke books instead of the just all and see method, but the characters some of these regulars and staff are make up for that by leaps and bounds. Funny and talented. Never a full moment, even on a slow night. All in all, I go back because I feel more comfortable there than a lot of places. No frills, except for the ones in the bras hanging from the ceiling... And that's how...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMaybe not the bars fault. The Karaoke guy they hired for 03/22 was not it. WEIRD and exhortative. We ātippedā him to be pushed to the āfrontā. TWO HOURS later or whatever, weāre salty because our song hasnt been played. I approach him to ask how much longer. Dont even chat bc this woman who has gone twice since we asked to sing then confronted me, saying $2 wasnt a lot of money. But its been 2 hours since we asked and he at the TIME promised ā4ā songs till we go on. No its not a lot of money, but its been 2 hours and you lied, then a random woman tried to bully us into believing $2 wasn't enough money and we were in the wrong . AND she also proclaimed loudly on the mic beforehand āI had to give him a Blow Job to get to the front of the lineā whether a joke or not, the sentiments ring true, no song for you unless you pay up, Money wise or otherwise. Its busy sure, but dont lie to your guests then try and bully them for more $$$. Its the principal not the $2.
*to the owner, if you dont like people buying their way to the front, take that up with the dj of the night. He moved people who had just gotten to the bar ahead of us, and when we asked when we were up he...
