So I was in the area of Broad and Erie. Looking to get a cheesesteak from a well-known spot that shall remain anonymous & was featured in a movie. I was strongly cautioned against purchasing any kind of food as I was told the place was allegedly dirty. This came from several of the workers of this said establishment. I was instead given the suggestion of heading over to One Stop Deli and Grocery and that their meat was halal. So glad that I took the suggestion they have a large assortment of beverages non-alcoholic. The customer service I received what's noteworthy. I ordered a cheese steak and fries, both were delicious. The fries were fresh hot and tasty. With no salt, pepper or condiments. They never made it home. The steak was tasty, again with just fried onions. This will be my go to place when I'm in this part of town. Check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Ordered waffles with fruit and Nutella and I got 3 small waffles but no Nutella and fruit. The waffles are literally eggo waffles. $13 for some soggy eggo waffles. I probably could have paid less to go buy a whole box.

I use to love there food and the service until they is just started recently being rude to me and as a guest thats unfair .the reason is because of how I want my food I order the same food from then and Asked for it to have the same things each time I order . They rush throw the food to make it the way they want not the way I want I hate a grilled chicken salad when the chicken isn't cooked well and it seems like for me to ask for extra seasoning on it and for it to be cook well is to much blows me. It seems like they rush past wat I want to make it easier for them and it u heat up precook grilled check it isn't cooked all the way threw and I hate the taste . I spend a lot of money with them each time I order. For recently them to laugh on the phone and to tell me they will cook the food the way they want to isn't right and to laugh in my ear and go back and fourth isn't appropriate business . I use to work for a franchise like red lobster and If you were to go to rob lobster and order your food the way u want to they will not deny you , or tell u no they will do there best to make it the way you want because ur business is important to them. I will never eat there again horrible owner horrible food , poor customer...

We came from New York City to get Max’s, but the owner there provided poor customer service. So, we went across the street to 1 stop and visited the lady with the faith over fear shirt and ordered from her. She recommended cheesesteak load. And then she paused. That’s when I knew I made the right choice to leave Max’s. She gave us a buffalo chicken cheesesteak, and asked us which bacon we wanted, turkey or beef. She said 15 minutes for our order and we knew it was so she could make our cheesesteaks with love.

When we received our food, the bag was so hot, massive, and heavy that we knew this would be a special experience. Extra ketchup, napkins, and sauce in the bag too. Then came the tasting. The cheesesteaks were dripping with so much deliciousness we couldn’t help ourselves but devour them so fast, we couldn’t speak. It was filled with so much meat, it looked like a wrap. All the space in our mouths was full. Even the locals know, Max’s is overrated. Get your cheesesteak load...
