I've ordered from here for years because of the great food. But today has pushed me to never want to give patronage to this business. I ordered through Uber eats the app they have as an option. quite frankly it's easier due to the high call volume that they have. I ordered one large pepperoni and sausage pizza, buffalo wings a 20pc ,a grilled chicken salad and mozzarella sticks with bacon. My children were excited because they love their food. Our order comes and we have no pizza no mozzarella sticks. We ask the driver where is the rest of the order he says they didn't give him anything else but the bag. Now understand that we order from here maybe twice a month and the last four times our order has been messed up or things left off. I called to find out why this keeps happening and the Manager Dennis was very rude and even when I brought up the fact that this has happened for the fourth time ,he brings up the fact that he didn't get paid for it since I ordered through Uber eats, which in my mind makes it seem like as a repeat paying customer that my service is deemed less important due to me ordering through an app. How does that sound to a paying customer? He finally offered to send it to my home but due to his attitude on the phone I can't even feed my children this pizza not knowing what could have been done in anger. He hung up on me in a fit of rage, I called back to explain how it is for a customer who has paid you time and time again to be understandable upset over a repeat offense. He did not take any responsibility for this only blaming it on the driver's inpatients to wait for the rest of the order. Mind you this is the fourth time I've heard this excuse. So while I understand that it could potentially be on the driver, why would you continue to put your business at fault? Why not tell your employees not to put partial orders up for pickup if the drivers don't wait and this seems to keep happening?? These are some of the things Dennis could of implemented to make his business better . Instead you chose to take offense and be very unaccommodating to a long time paying and tipping Customer. If your a driver for this business ,be careful you maybe getting thrown under the bus for orders. Also to add insult to injury when their delivery driver came he too became argumentative and said I should be lucky this isn't McDonald's or I wouldn't have gotten my order at all. I'm completely disappointed in this establishment, and after years of service I will be seeking another Pizzeria to support.
Sincerely, A former...
Read moreCity View has always been a favorite food establishment especially for Pizza! I usually can order anything and am never disappointed and don’t mind spending a lot at their establishment, however yesterday I received the worst chicken finger platter ever. You could see that the fries and fingers were cooked in old grease and the chicken fingers literally had black burnt dirty old grease marks all over them. Called to let them know ant the manager told me that the chicken fingers weren’t the normal ones that they use and this particular brand had to be cooked extra long or they may not be done on the inside all the way and that’s why they looked burnt and old. Also if they cooked them for less time and were lighter they may not be done. So you’re telling me they’re either gonna be burnt or I’ll get salmonella because the chicken would still be raw inside. I requested my money back. The manager is awful and the owner should take a closer look at how the Broad and Erie location is being operated. Definitely left a bad taste...
Read moreSo last night I was having a complicated day, one of those days where your sad but try to hide it but it's all over your face. I came to city view because a great mentor of mines took me there once and the pizza made my tongue jump LOL! It was really busy but i ordered two slices and decided to wait, the counter girl must have given my slices to someone else or not heated them up at all because I was waiting 10-20 is minutes. (Still very sad over a life situation) I proceed to asking a employee about my slices and another goes to heat them up . Now I'm even more sad because as you can imagine I'm pretty hungry and I want to be cheered up. When my order was finished a man with dirty blonde hair handed me two boxes and was so sweet to try and make me laugh, it wasn't until I went to the train station I realized he'd given me two slices in each boxes. Nothing cheers a girl up like extra pizza ! What a sweetheart! These people have great customer service , great pizza and I come here as...
