Erie Square Restaurants — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I haven' t been here in awhile however this morning I stopped in with my wife. The food was horrible. Even after I agreed to pay .75 extra for toast.( Thought it use to come with the platter ).The beef scrapple had a spoiled smell and taste. The beef hot sausage was fried hard but soft and mushy and spoiled in taste. The grits were very lumpy and the home fries taste like old microwaved potatoes dry ,brittle and plain. I also ordered French toast which needed a little more grilling and they didn't give me any syrup. Bottom line is Erie Square has fell off with quality of food and I will never eat...

I've only come a few days in a row and they're friendly and quick to remember you and your order. Service is super quick and portions are decently sized. I usually split my bacon egg and cheese on a croissant with my sister.

Edit: something I noticed in a review below was the lack of gloves while in contact with food. I haven't had the same experience, rather I was in awe of how quickly they put on gloves every time they handled food. As someone who's worked in the food industry, switching that often and that quickly is impressive and an indication of the good training and how well food...

WARNING: Don’t ever go in here!!! I order 2 omelettes a steak omelette and a corn beef omelette. Now usually opening your food is joyous but I open a culinary nightmare. Food is prepared with no culinary skills whatsoever omelette is not fluffy or prepared properly it’s a scrambled mess. Also shows signs of a dirty grill.
