Amir's Pizza & Shawarma Grill — Restaurant in Philadelphia

This is the third time I ordered from this place. The first two times were absolutely amazing. When you bite into the Corleone it is like immediate satisfaction it just melts in your mouth and all the flavors make you feel like you are floating on a cloud. Almost Like the food came out of Aunt Mary’s kitchen. True Italian 🇮🇹 greatness. I ordered the same exact order tonight (11/19) as I had the previous 2 times. This time I felt like I was eating Wilson Middle School Cafeteria pizza. Someone else commented it tastes like Ellios and he is exactly right. Idk what the difference is but what we consumed was not the Corleone. The crust was slightly burnt on one piece and undercooked in the middle of the slices.the French fries weren’t completely cooked.Maybe it is a different cook 🧑🏽‍🍳 ? If so he/she needs to go. Usually, i do NOT complain... ever. But this has been the worst experience ive ever had. The pizza was horrible. Covered in grease and cooked so long; it was extremely thin... barely any bread cheese or tomato sauce... everything about the order was careless and horribly made. They did not even give us the liter of soda we odered.... the worst part of it all, they were not even going to deliver our food... we told them to call us before arrival ... they did not... we had to call the pizza place, only for them to tell us the delivery man moved on... we had to call twice and the man did not even call us back but texted us he was here... he even comained about how horrible the pizza place was. How unethicalthe business was. ... i am in the food industry and this is just appalling .. i dont know how they have stars or even...

I just moved into the area this year besides the normal places I wanted to switch it up and I ordered one night when I tell you the customer service alone over the phone for that delivery order. Let me know that this place was amazing. The next order I placed, I made to pick up and that’s when I went in and met the ownerand boy glad I did. This guy works so hard and it pays off again. His customer service is second to none from the moment you enter is establishment the minute you leave he makes you feel welcome. He engages you in conversation and he continuously update you with the status of your order. The food brought me in here, but Amir is why I keep going back. Keep doing what you guys are doing. Love...
