Read moreI placed my order, which was scheduled to be delivered 50 minutes after the order was placed, according to the app. Sixty-five minutes later, I checked the app, and my order hadn't even been picked up from the restaurant. I clicked the chat icon and got an automated message saying that someone would email me. I looked for a contact phone number, but there isn't one listed, only an email address. I emailed the posted email address, and 30 minutes later, the owner replied saying that he doesn't know why my order hadn't been picked up but that he would personally take care of it. He also offered a refund. I replied that I just wanted the food and didn't need a refund. There was no response. I waited another 10 minutes and then called the restaurant to ask if a Black and Mobile order had been placed for me (I gave them my name and the order). Nothing had been ordered for me through Black and Mobile. I then emailed the owner again to ask for a refund because they had taken my money but hadn't placed my order. There was no response and no way to cancel my order through the app. They took my money, didn't provide the service, and haven't allowed me to get refunded. It was resolved and I figured they were still figuring things out especially with the pandemic going on so I wasn’t too phased by it. I recently placed an order and it went left. My order was marked late an hour after ordering. The phone number on file to contact them doesn’t work at all. I tried the chat and got no response. I emailed twice and still no response on the update of my order. I had to go on tiktok to contact them. I was left on read and then By an hour and a half, I received a text that my order was cancelled. I still don’t have an update on my refund. When I called the restaurant they said the driver been came to get my order but they do not have any affiliation with black and mobile. Seems like you order from black and mobile and it then goes through their 3rd party account with doordash and then it gets delivered from there. My delivery charge had also suddenly increased after ordering. Not a very organized system and really difficult to reach the company.
