ELIXR Coffee 3675 Market — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Elixr is fine, but I don’t think it’s worth all the hype. The coffee was good, slightly better than average. I had a mocha with oat milk.

They don’t have an oven, so pastries like croissants are served cold. Seating is limited and those with table tops even more so. There was a small couch area near the entrance, but someone was sleeping across it when I visited. It made the whole section feel unusable and pushed everyone into the rest of the already-crowded space.

The place was quite busy at 11:45am in a Monday morning. Don’t expect to get a seat unless you show up early. The view isn’t great either. There are trash bins across the street and the café is tucked into a side alley, but one could say it has a sort of charm, and you forget about it immediately. Service was okay. Nothing bad, but nothing that stood out either.

I will add that the WiFi was solid. Didn’t have any issues with that.

Overall, the coffee was solid but not worth driving for unless you’re already...

Coffee was fine. I got a peach pastry and the dough was like you'd get from a grocery store pastry and the peach was from a can! Gross. Outrageous to be selling garbage like this at a coffee shop esp at that price. Horrible yuppie vibes in here which i suppose I would have known had I looked at more pictures or known the building it was in. Went cause I was in the area and it had good reviews, have concluded that 4.7 ranking comes from tech/business/finance idiots who automatically experience anything that reminds them of an apple store or cheap new build "luxury" apartments...
