AUTHENTIC!!! Please don't walk by this place and underestimate the quality and flavor of this little gem. Yes, it's next to a popular restaurant so you maybe tempted to pass up on this place but please don't make that mistake. They offer 3 outdoor tables with heat lamps and it was enough to keep us warm and comfortable while we are their delicious food and people watched. The service was friendly and food comes out hot, presentable, and great portions.

We ordered the wanton soup $13.00 and it was the best soup on a cold day. Ingredients and broth are fresh, flavorful, hot and an abundance of noodles make your heart skip a beat. The wontons were filled with delicious pork and packed great texture and flavor, we shared as an appetizer and it was worth the price.

We finished off with two bahn mi sandwiches and shared each half it was a great big sandwich. We ordered the pork bahn mi which had more traditional fixings and the pork was tender and sweet and if you enjoy heat we ordered the spicy steak which had gives a constant heat with every bite. The ingredients were fresh, meat thin yet juicy, and the bread is the perfect balance of toasted and airy to compliment the fillings.

I don't usually give 5 stars but this place surprised me and I've always been looking for great Vietnamese cuisine especially bahn mi and this place really makes it feel homemade. Pricing is on point and they provide all the siracha your heart may desire.

Would highly recommend for a casual lunch/dinner and tasty food. Total for meal was...

This place is dope. I recommend it. I try to go at least once a week. It's close to my building so it just works for me perfectly.

Main Street is already a cool place to do just about anything. Eat and chill. Eat and turn up. Drinks. Shopping. Cafes to read books and have conversations. Places to just run and ride bikes and walk dogs. So, this place being added (its new) is a plus.

Super chill vibes and a dope atmosphere. Soon as I walked in, I was quickly greeted with a genuine friendly approach by the owner. He's a cool guy. You can sit anywhere you like. I'm going through the venue, and one of my favorite ways to begin building relationship at restaurants is asking them to make suggestions and then picking what they suggest. So, that's what I did and he offered something that's not even on the menu. (Just ask for this special with the grilled chicken on the side of some pho - you won't regret it.)

I also ran into a friend from Instagram. Funny, but just added another cool element.

The prices are amazing. You'll get great food on a budget. The staff is friendly. The place is nice and small. I always go alone and it's perfect. But I've seen people with friends and it works...

Update: I am super impressed with the responsiveness of the owner who responded quickly to let us know there is a printed menu and that the waitstaff was asked to make sure customers know it’s available in addition to the digital one. For some customers that option will be much appreciated. Yippee!! Thanks for being so responsive and so quickly?

Original Post: I enjoyed my first visit and would return if I was with a bunch of friends who wanted to try it. The chicken summer rolls were excellent, flavorful and delicately made. The pho had tasty grilled chicken. The broth was not as intensely flavored as I’ve had elsewhere. The service was fine.

[owner later addressed and solved this concern.] I didn’t like that they don’t have a printed menu and I had to have a cel phone to look at it on line. And viewing it on my phone took too long to load all the pictures and was too small to let me compare pictures of different dishes. So, I just ordered what loaded quickly on my screen and likely missed seeing some other dishes I may...

A very welcome addition to Main street Manayunk!! As a self-proclaimed Phó-a-phile, I always get the same dish, so as to be able to accurately describe the differences I encounter! Beef broth phó with rare eye round and add shrimp! I was pleasantly surprised at how good this phó is! Everything was fresh, (no fishy taste to the shrimp!), the broth was delicious, and there was a substantial helping of noodles (some phó leaves you fishing around a bowl of too much broth for the last remnants of noodle, but this dish was perfectly proportioned! The beef itself was average, nothing to complain about, but the shrimp were perfectly cooked, (and no tails, yay!) and there was a generous amount for the additional $2 charge!! The service was impeccable, very fast and friendly, and my server had all the specials memorized!! They earned the five stars with really good phó and fabulous service!! Highly recommend!! Right next door to the AMAZING bar\restaurant SOMO!!
