First off, the overwhelmingly positive reviews that give very few notes or comments seem so inauthentic, everything was fine, but please.
Positives- The place looks nice, and very clean, I like the decor. The staff/family seemed very pleasant and nice. I am rooting for them as there are not a whole lot of Vietnamese Coffee places besides the very obvious one with a dragon logo based in Kensington. The prices on the sandwiches seem fair, everyplace charges around $10-$14 or so.
Critiques/Negatives- The drinks are a little too high, and I think to save costs they could actually shrink their menu a little bit. There is no reason to have that many drinks. They should have like three versions of the Vietnamese Iced Coffee (Pandan, Ube, and another one) and a couple teas. A banh Mi and a drink cost me $20. It would be cheaper literally at any other Vietnamese Place in the city of Philadelphia. The sandwich was dry, it needed some sort of sauce or mayo, and the bread is one of the worst breads. I have had from a restaurant made of banh mi, it should be crisp and create crumbs when you bite into it. The coffee itself is also too sweet, Vietnamese iced coffee is supposed to...

I ordered the Strawberry Matcha, which was beautifully layered and visually appealing. The drink leans more toward the strawberry side — sweet, fruity, and refreshing. I usually prefer a stronger matcha flavor, but this was still enjoyable. It tasted clean and natural, like it was made with real fruit or fruit jam instead of powders.
My friend ordered the Mystery Flavor, which came out a rich purple color. It looked and tasted like ube — creamy, slightly nutty, and not overly sweet. A fun surprise if you like trying new flavors.
The café itself is small with limited seating. It has a cozy, quaint vibe but isn’t ideal for dining in when it’s busy. Takeout is your best bet. The staff were friendly but clearly overwhelmed with the crowd, so expect a bit of a wait.
Overall, the drinks were delicious and thoughtfully made. Worth checking out if you're nearby and have a little...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped by on our first day during our trip to Philadelphia due to the high ratings and this place didn't disappoint! We were here for 4 days and before we left to travel back to Jersey we had to stop by again! Everything we had here was phenomenal! The black drip coffee you can tell they use a specialty bean that has that authentic Vietnamese coffee bitterness but a hint of sweetness and fruitiness on the backend. It's the perfect cup that has all the benefits of Vietnamese caffeine with specialty coffee flavor! If you're looking for a cup of coffee, tea or matcha, this is the place! There's so many options that you'll never get bored or disappointed. I'll be sure to always stop by whenever I'm in the area! It's a short walk away from the convention center as well so it's conveniently located. The staff were all so kind and accommodating. I'll be sure to be bring my friends here and recommend that anyone in the area should come here if you're looking for a drink! 11/10...
