A couple friends and I went for walk-ins: one for a haircut, two of us to get our hair bleached so we can apply color at home. It was pretty busy so we had to wait for a while, but the haircut was finished quickly and for an impressively cheap cost. It took a long time for our hair to get bleached, only because the hairstyler was incredibly thorough and patient. Best bleach work I've ever received. We spent a total of 7 hours in the salon for all of us (which was unplanned for but didn't mind), and all walked away quite satisfied.

Only issue is perhaps the judgment that we felt within the salon. Because of the casual Chinese cultural atmosphere, we heard a lot of rude whispers and comments (as we speak Chinese) from customers and other workers alike about our "bold" hair choices, and it made us feel very uncomfortable. I would love to return, but not sure if I would like to face the environment again.

EDIT: There is a difference between misinterpreting words and hearing with my own ears "why would she choose that for her hair, it looks so ugly, looks like goose feathers" LOL.

EDIT 2: Revisited this review to show some friends, but 1. it was spoken in Mandarin 2. as I wrote above, it was not just workers, it was the whole environment. Just accept that a customer had a bad service experience and you were lucky enough to get 4/5 stars due to the stellar work at the salon. 😂 I will decrease it if the owners continue to...
