Going there for my first time, it ended up not planned. The staff were nice and communication was somewhat there as there was somewhat of a communication barrier. As I really liked how the haircut went, the partial highlights didn't really go as planned. They communicated to me how it would go for what I paid, and yes I paid for what I got which was extremely disappointing.
When I first entered the salon, they blowed dried my hair with hot heat where it was smoking. There was also leftover hair from the last person, and I don’t think they clean their tools in between uses. I was looking into the combs and shears and noticed that there was left over hair everywhere.
Then for the color... There was no blending at the roots and it looks like my hair is growing out from just getting it done for the first time. Also it’s extremely yellow. I noticed the nice lady who did it wasn't going to the roots but I thought she would 2 hours later, when she did, it wasn't left in long enough. The workers there were raving how nice it turned out but it seemed like they were saying that for me to leave. I'm definitely upset with the results as it all felt rushed towards the end to get me out. I couldn't fully understand what was going on. They then had left me with right out of the wash hair after a quick blow dry, nothing styled. The guys there asked if it was okay and I said yes… but I feel like for $110 + tip… it would be nice to feel styled without being asked.
I would come back for a cut, but no more color. Overall though, I will not return.
Now I'm trying to find a way to fix this. Felt like I was too generous with the tip I made. They told me it would end up natural and different... but I felt like I could have done this myself. It looked extremely botched. Was truly not worth $110. I would say the $35 for a haircut is...
Read moreTerrified. This was a really scary experience. The woman who washed my hair scrubbed my scalp so hard I was literally in tears. She rinsed out all the conditioner, and my hair felt dry and brittle right away. Then the tech went straight in with super high heat from the blow dryer and started brushing my hair in the opposite direction—it was rough and uncomfortable the whole time.
No one checked in or asked if I was okay, even though it was obvious I wasn’t comfortable. It honestly felt like the person doing my hair was still learning because another stylist kept giving him instructions. They asked if I wanted a haircut twice even though I said no and had just gotten one last week—thankfully I stopped them before they started cutting.
They only accept Venmo or cash, which already felt sketchy, and at the end, they reminded me that tip wasn’t included and basically pressured me to tip even though I was unhappy. I did, but it felt wrong. I ended the blowout early because I didn’t trust them to keep going with the curling iron.
I definitely felt like they were talking about me in another language and that made me very uncomfortable.
I didn’t catch any names, but I walked out feeling shaken and upset. Definitely...
Read moreI went here thinking it would be inexpensive and it certainly was not, I asked for a glaze cut and blow out and it was $180. I clearly communicated with the woman that I wanted to glaze or tone my hair because I did not want permanent color. She said that was okay had me pick out a swatch and then a man put permanent color on my head. I could immediately smell the ammonia and I was obviously upset because I knew it was permanent but I was like let’s see it through. The color was much more reddish than I had showed pictures of. I had some older balayage that I just wanted to tone closer to my natural color instead I have one flat color of reddish brown across my whole head. The cut was good and the style was very rushed. Overall for $180 I felt it was very over priced for not listening to me and being in there only about an hour and 15 minutes. I am very upset that I now have permanent color on my head when that is not what I asked for. The woman even said to me “see this is good because now it will stay and you won’t have to get it done again” . I know the difference and what permanent color is there is a reason I did...
