Friendly locals, great service, okay-ish prices, no food even though “grill” is in their name, VERY limited drink options (macro beers only, and Jim Beam is their only bourbon), cash only which is also kind of a bummer. The blue-eyed blonde behind the bar was a walking stereotype (the good kind) of Philly with the accent, mannerisms, and all, and made me feel welcome. If you want the most authentic “what Philadelphia is really like” locals’ bar experience, especially as a southern boy, check this spot out....
