Best banh mi in university city! One of the bestasian cafe I have ever been to!

Banh mi is great.

It has this taste of Maggi sauce which blends nicely with the fresh herb and veggie. This sandwich is not over-stuffed: you can eat it elegantly in front of your date without the mess caused by escaping fillings. Picked radish and carrots are also elegantly cut into thin strips and do not overpower the taste of the veggies. They use traditional baguette-ish bread so it has that signature crunchiness. I ordered vegetarian version but it’s made by viet vegetarian ham. I thought the owner lady gave me wrong order at first because most restaurants always use tofu as a substitute. I don’t like tofu in my banh mi because restaurants here often fry the tofu which makes it weirdly greasy and they also cut tofu into big chunks. The extra big chunks just do not fit the shape of the bread, making them so eagerly to escape.

Drinks are great

I ordered kumquat tea and coconut coffee. Both great. 9/10. They allow you to choose sweetness which is super thoughtful.

Environment is great

Super clean. The owner is very thoughtful and polite. She asked “have you been here before??” after a few days of my first visit, which is very heartwarming. There are arts, piano and music (vietpop or jazz). Not a lot of boba shops have those. The owner lady must be cool avant-garde Asian aunty we all have dreamt of having. Come and...

First time but good impression. Nice and clean . The owner she is very nice . K would like to go there again . I order Ba Mi Bagel 🥯 and hot coffee with condensed milk. It’s so good . Price is right . Manu is good too . Update : 2nd time visited , I Ordered same thing but coffee is ice not hot . Same as goof as last time . This time I stay here longer than last time . The owner her name is Thuy ( Tree) or ( Treat) she is wonderful , I was going to pick up and leave , she ask me to stay longer and she want to talk with me 🤭☺️ so I stayed longer and ate my lunch . I really enjoy to seat here , quiet and peaceful . I. Love the deco here . I found something very interesting in the bathroom like a little museum. She keep her antique collection in the bathroom Nicely displayed. She have old phone . Old camera, old type writer etc . So I will definitely bring my friends here . Bravo 🎉 thank you Thyu making good food in the...

I tried the Strawberry Banana Smoothie and the Signature Taro Coffee, and both were amazing! The smoothie was creamy, refreshing, and perfectly balanced between the natural sweetness of strawberries and the smoothness of bananas. The Signature Taro Coffee was a delightful surprise—it had a rich coffee flavor with the subtle sweetness and nuttiness of taro, making it unique and absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere is so nice, chill, and relaxing, making it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. The owners are friendly, adding to the warm and welcoming vibe of the café.

If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great drinks, a relaxing atmosphere, and kind owners, I highly recommend Hue Boba Café! I’ll definitely be coming back...
