I have had good pizza and fries from this place before, so of course I thought of it when I was in a bind for late night dinner. I hadnāt eaten at all yesterday and was excited to have food delivered to me within the hour. Alas, my food never showed up. After an hour and a half, I called to ask where my food was or if the driver was lost (my apartment is hard to find). The employee told me that the shop was busy and the driver was just running late. She treated me and my girlfriend poorly and rudely hung up the phone. We called again 2.5 hours after placing the order when the food still wasnāt here. She said that the driver had come, but didnāt deliver my food directly to me because āitās not our policy to knock. He called, but nobody answered, so he came back.ā First off, WHY ARE YOU NOT KNOCKING? How am I supposed to know youāre at my door if you donāt knock? Iām not in charge of my gfās phone, so I donāt always hear it ring or see the screen light up, but I was right next to the door with the window open and didnāt hear or see a damn thing. Second, my food had been in a warmer for at least 40 minutes because the business was busy, then in this dudeās car for the rest of the time. Even if I had answered the door, the food would have been stale (Iāve worked at a pizza shop before and Iām not stupid. I know how this works). Iāve never been more upset with a restaurant. Iām glad I didnāt pay with card because the sassy, rude employee on the phone didnāt even offer me a second delivery. Clearly, you donāt want my business. I was going to tip nicely, too, because Iām not a horrible person. Now you wonāt get my business again unless I am guaranteed AT LEAST decent service. Why would I waste my time and money at an establishment that doesnāt respect its customers? For the record, I donāt normally complain about anything, but this really upset me and I went to bed without dinner because other places were closed. I no longer live in the city, so Iām about 35 min out of the city where there is no good placeās to order from so in& out was always my go to. After the last time I ordered they forgot to put my cheese fries in the bag and we didnāt notice until we was home, and being hungry and tired we didnāt go back. I called and let them know and was told I get a credit next time I order... fast forward to today( NEW YEARāS DAY 2021!!) we ordered and our order is usually about a 40-50.00 order every time! We get all the way home and my 2 cheese burgers for my sons is not in the bagš”mind you when I ordered I let the young lady know about my previous experience and was very thorough with placing the order and making sure it was correct, however when I called to let them know I was toldāwe did put your burgers in the bagā Like what??!! I said no you did not and was placed on hold ( she just put the phone down) and I can hear them talking as if Iām scheming about some burgers! Mind you I didnāt even ask for the credit or money thatās already owed to me from the last time. So I asked them to make a whole new order and we would come get it because the French fries I ordered wasnāt even cooked all the way and my husband didnāt wanna eat cold food or have to heat it in the microwave. I thought it was only fair because now we have to wait a whole other hour to eat. I was looking for a good place to get a chicken cheesesteak, without having to endure a long wait, and hoping for one that did not taste like it came from the corner store. I was already out in this area and chose In & Out on a whim. After looking at the menu, I decided my search was over and confirmed I would order here because the prices were fair, but mainly because they do not serve pork products, which was the biggest win for me. Now, letās talk about this chicken cheesesteak! The roll was fresh! The cheesesteak was loaded with meat. Loaded! Stuffed! I could barely eat half. I had to save the other half and my cheesy fries for dinner the next day (I had a platter. I got it on Tuesday, finished eating it Wednesday, and it was so good I forgot to take the pic both times, but now itās 3:57 am in the morning on Thursday and it was weighing on my mind and heart to write this review).
