Jack's Bar + Grill — Restaurant in Philadelphia

This was my second time at Jake’s Bar + Grill, the first time at this establishment was pretty cool came for like happy hour and the food was pretty decent at that time. I was a bit skeptical on coming here again due to the bad reviews on Google but decided to give it a try again so I came in with my friend for an Eagles game, they had all you can eat tailgate buffet and their menu was limited. Me and my friend we didn’t care too much for the buffet so we decided to order something from the limited menu instead, after placing our order our food took extremely long to come out and our server didn’t even take the initiative to up date us nor asks if we liked a refill on are drinks. When the food did arrive that’s when our server asks if we liked it a refill, the burger that I ordered was horrible it was literally cold not even lukewarm like if it was sitting around, the side of fries that came with it was a hot mess. There were literally three different types of fries, curly, waffle and crinkles fries all piled up. Not a very good presentation you can tell that whoever was working that kitchen did not care what the food looked like, and our server did a very poor job on accommodating us throughout this horrible dining experience she didn’t even asks us how was the food just quick to bring the check. This place is definitely being poorly manage and I hope that someone from this company can step in to make the right changes, because most likely I will not be returning, and I will not be recommending this place to any of my...

Came here for Valentine's Day dinner. My wife didn't realize it was located inside a casino, but once we got there it was too late to make other arrangements and we decided to keep an open mind and give it a shot.

We were seated right away - apparently our reservations were not necessary since they were almost empty. We ordered the cheese steak egg rolls as an appetizer and they came out relatively quickly and we're quite tasty. This was the last time we spoke to our waitress. We saw her a few times helping another table, but she either forgot about us or was taken off our table...no idea but it was strange. 30 minutes after sitting down we finally got the attention of another waitress and asked if she could take our orders. She did and twenty minutes later our main courses arrived. I ordered the grilled chicken fettuccine alfredo. And when it showed up it resembled more of a soup or stew...I couldn't even see the noodles under all the sauce. I had one bite and at that point gave up on having a decent dinner. Waitress noticed I hadn't touched my meal and said they would take it off for me. She then asked if there was anything she could get for me so I wouldn't go home from Valentine's day dinner hungry and I asked for a plain cheese burger. It came out and was fine, no complaints. Just an all around average burger that I ate about a third of. And we asked for the check. I saw they took the alfredo off but added the burger in it's place, (no surprise there). Me, my boyfriend Phillip and 2 other friends dined here and the food was ok shrimp was a bit bland and could have been fried harder, but not bad for the 4 of us the tab was $90 decent prices we left a $20 cash tip this is where the terrible service begins we asked the waitress to split the bill evenly between us couples. My boyfriend paid $45 and the other guy $45. She brought both receipts out to sign and they both said $45 each ( $90 total) we left and didn't think nothing of it until a few days later my boyfriend checked his account and $90 had been charged to his account. We immediately look at the receipt again to make sure it said $45 and I called my friend and asked was he charged he said yes and sent me a screenshot of $45 taken....so they took $135 total $45 from my friend and 90 from my boyfriend. This seems very shady we immediately went back up there and spoke to a manager and explained the situation she said she would look into it and should be fixed in a couple days, it wasn't. So my boyfriend called back another lady said she,would look into it and call back she didn't. On top of that all their customer service sucked they all had attitude like we did something wrong, yall are the ones who stole our money, no apology or problem fixed Nothing.
