Pet-Friendly Restaurants in Philadelphia Are Here! [Part 1]

Definitely the best bar for parents! If you are an adult without kids, just be aware there is a lot of kids running around before 8pm. You really can't beat a restaurant/bar where you have a playground indoors. A simple playset for the kids but it keeps them entertained while the parents can enjoy some dinner or drinks. It definitely can get crowded though. There were several parties during mid day Saturday. A lot of kids and parents were around but once you got a table you got to order, food came out on time and it was good. They also had old Nintendo games set up for older kids and even had a "library" area with old arcade games and pool table We got the BBQ Tower and got to select 3 meats (ribs, brisket, and pulled pork) and 3 sides (Mac and cheese, fries, and mexican baked beans). They were all good. And if you have a group it is worth getting. We got that with the artichoke dip. My wife also wanted a chicken sandwich and a side salad too. They were all good and you had a nice selection of beer from the Main Stay Brewery. Worth going there again and even booking a space and time for a party. Definitely worth checking out if you are a parent.

This may be my new favorite place in the world!! I got invited to the Christmas tree lighting event last night. My biggest concern for craft Hall was that it is kid friendly. My pure genius Craft Hall moment was when I saw the indoor playground for the kids was away from the general population. Pure genius!! Craft Hall has something for everyone. Indoor playground, church pews, fire door tables, bar stools, thick leather chairs in the living room area and a wall of past presidents portraits and stories. Almost forgot that patrons can watch the Craft Hall bakers make fresh bread and rolls. Bonus viewing, the brewers are hard at work in their space right next to the bakers. The food looked amazing. Last night having another beer instead of the Tuna Melt seemed liked a good idea. I have serious Tuna Melt remorse this morning. Craft Hall is my new favorite place in the world.

We attended a party here so this review will concentrate on the food and beverage, as well as the parking (or lack thereof).

Let me start by saying it's a great space... big enough that a crowd is not necessarily deafening. There were plenty of beer choices, I had three and found them to be very solid. Not the best I've ever had, but well above average. The food selections were part of the package, but the cheesesteak spring rolls were really yummy and if they are a regular item, I would get them again.

The staff was welcoming, the bartenders were very personable and seemed to really understand the products and were able to give good recommendations given my style preferences.

Now to the downside... parking. I get it, it's Philly. Parking is always a challenge. The lot across the street had about 20 spaces total. No street parking was available nearby, and the sign directed overflow to Rivers Casino, Lot A. Only one problem... that lot was completely blocked off. With all the signs around the other casino lots, we didn't want to take a chance and get towed, so we parked at a random construction site that did not appear to be monitored.

Car was fine, but the possibility of being towed by the PPA is a tangible worry and impacted the enjoyment.

Next time, I think I'll find a legal spot to park and just Uber to the craft hall.. Other than that, great place with...

Pit stop before enjoying the holidays on the trolley. We had a great experience with Hawk that made me want to share my overall experience here. We had a lost phone in our group and at the end of the night I asked Hawk if I can share my number with him in case it turned up; he could contact me. He was glad to do so and we went on our way. Today, the next day, I received a note from him sharing that it hadn’t turned up. I felt bad because we found it later in the night, it was with another friend, and I never made him aware that it turned up. Hawk definitely took our experience to another level, showing his care and commitment to us, knowing how important finding the misplaced phone was. This was definitely above and beyond and MUCH appreciated.

Looking back at our time there, this gesture of kindness was above and beyond our other positive experiences while there, specifically with Hawk. From him doing his job in a kind, professional way from the minute we got there as he advised us of the outside beverage policy (and kindly pointed out the bar where we bought a round) and kept an eye on our BYOB drinks for the trolley, to him taking a nice group pic of our party and just being kind in pointing us around while we were there etc; Hawk made our experience BETTER!

Thank you for choosing such a kind person to represent your company in the right way. Kudos to...

We held our baby’s first birthday party here. They had an event coordinator, Kerry who worked with us to organize our party. She gave great advice and made everything so easy! We were able to reserve an area for our party near the playground so the kids could run around while the parents enjoyed some food and drink nearby. Their minimum food and drink price per person was very reasonable. (Other play places we looked into renting were expensive and only offered the play-space, we would still have had to supply all the food and drink.)

On the day of the event, we were greeted by management and our waiter Drew - who was so amazing - he helped us with decorations and constantly checked in with us and our guests with regards to food and drink.

Craft Hall is also so central, so all our friends from NJ and Philly could make it. Parking was very easy.

If you’re thinking about throwing a kids party, this is a great place to do it. So many of my friends who attended the party were so impressed with the venue, I think a lot of them were contemplating throwing parties there in the future as well! :)

We will definitely be back - it’s a great place to go on family dates with your friends with young children. They have plenty of tables right around the playground.

Thank you Craft Hall for such a great experience. We have some great memories of our baby’s first...
