Been a loyal and returning customer for almost 10 years. I never order from anywhere else. Tonight, I ordered 12 wings, a large pizza and mozzarella sticks. I did not get what I paid for. I called John's and kindly explained that the sauce my wings came in, were not mild buffalo. They were not hot, mostly all drums, had soggy fries in the sauce, where the wings were and only 11 wings were in the box. She told me that's what I ordered. I told her I have been ordering there for a long time and had these wings before but tonight, this was not them. She tells me, she will give me 5 wings, to pick up! I was appalled! I told her I would like a whole new order, but for a future day, hence because we are busy watching the game and I've already eaten. Not only, did I initially not want my money back, want to make a scene or write this but I was given a hard time, from the first words of my call, saying I had a problem with an order. She was saying no I can't help you, only send you 5 wings, for tonight. I tell her that I don't want anymore food tonight. I ask to speak to the manager or owner, and she doesn't put him on, so he's in the background, telling her to tell me nonsense and this point I'm upset now, so I told her, he doesn't have the balls to talk to a customer. He finally gets on the phone and I explain again the same story, he says we can make a new order or give me a future credit! I tell him that's all I want, please. I explain how I've been a customer for a long time, and frequently order from there. He then tells me to bring back the wings! Like are you serious? Then I get upset because I said are you kidding me? I will not do that! I tell him I will take a picture and send it to him and he said no, I want to give it to my chef! I said okay, I'm done. You're gonna lose a good and loyal customer for this nonsense? I was so appalled at the fact, that it took so much to get him on the phone and then he wants to inconvenience me, and for me to bring the wings back! Like I'm at home, recovering from back surgery and that's why I sent someone to pick up my order and he took it this far? For what? Could I have taken the wings back, no! Even if I could, I just felt so stupid and belittled at the fact, he was calling me a liar and wanted the food back. I was inconvenienced enough. Because now, I'm filing a grievance with my bank, contacting the BBB and writing this review and I warned of so this. So I hope it was worth it. Finally, I clearly see, that customer service is not something they deal with well and professionally, (thank GOD I never had a problem with my food order before) and I will go elsewhere; as I was loyal but there food was always...
Read moreI ordered from here at least 20+ times. I selected “Broccoli Pizza” under white gourmet pizza through grub hub. Everytime it came correct until tonight. We received a regular pizza(red sauce) with broccoli. I called asking them to send the right pizza thinking it was just a mistake. The girl on the phone said hold on, I could hear her in the back ground saying “it says nothing on the slip about white pizza it just says broccoli pizza”. Some guy got on the phone and was arguing the point with me. He asked for my phone number (I didn’t know why) and he texted a picture of the order. I feel that was unprofessional considering I didn’t know why he asked for my number. It said “Broccoli Pizza” I let him know in the description it says white pizza. He was very rude and said he’ll send out a new one and we will send the old one back… never heard of that before. To top it all off there’s no regular broccoli pizza on there menu…. There’s not even an option to add it to a regular pizza on Grubhub. This was an understandable mistake on their end but quickly turned into what I feel like them telling me it was my fault.
