Kaplan's New Model Bakery — Restaurant in Philadelphia

ONLY THE STORE BAKED BREAD ARE OK - EVERYTHING ELSE IS OLD AND NOT MADE HERE!! The pastries had green mold growing in it and was there since the last week I came. The owner and manager is NEVER here so they don't know how to run the place right. Only reason it survived is because it is in NORTHERN LIBERTY. They show no efforts in checking their old pastries, put expiration dates on it for God sake. That's why I never buy food with no expiration dates. Could be 2 weeks old like the pastries they have growing MOLD IN IT!!

The shorter hair blond woman does not pay attention to your orders and always get it wrong because she is too busy looking out the window and talking nonsense. Just get my simple order right, please thank you. Not complicated. Bakery selling K-cups COFFEE?? SERIOUSLY?? who goes in here to buy that?? brew some real coffee!! It's a BAKERY...

Hands down for the best breads around in Philly! Been coming here since the 70's for their quality breads they sell. Their rye, pumpernickel, and bagels are awesome with a certain consistency. You know the next time you come here, Kaplan's breads will never let you down! The staff here is friendly and always willing to help you.
