This place is really good if your going with a group of friends and you want to split a large mimosa tower with! My partner and I didnt get that while we were there though. I got the 3 kabob special and he got the smash burger with the upgrade of truffle fries to share. We had also ordered the sizzling street corn to share as well. The kabobs were perfectly cooked as far as the buttered korean steak kabobs, the shrimp skewer tho tasted a little over done. My partner enjoyed his smash burger but we were very disappointed with the truffle fries. They tasted like they were the last fries that had been sitting in a batch bowl already made under a heat lamp to keep warm. The truffle wasn't there at all and not seasoned what so every. We had to shake the salt over it a few times to get much flavor out of then. The sizzling street corn was very disappointing as well, a big miss on a classic. I look forward to this when I see this street corn on a menu. It tasted like they took a can of corn mixed some hot peppers and red onions in there, then microwaved it till it was hot then put it in a pre heated skillet and just topped it with very very little cheese. In the end just a soggy mooshy mess. The service was great! However when you go, expect the gratuity to already be added. We didn't know about this going in, we also weren't given menus to let us know this and it wasn't stated at all in the website when we were looking at the menu. This is something that definitely either should be added or told to the customer especially if it's just 2 people. To drink we got a cosmo and a lemon drop martini because they were having a special on thursday nights for 12 dollar martinis. I'm a bartender, the size they give you for there "specialty price" is more like the original price should be $12 dollars and the specialty should be $10. The taste also reflects that price too, bottom shelf vodka with very little triple sec and more cranberry juice than ther should be. We will be coming back with a group to maybe share a tower drink and play pool or do trivia night but probably will be eating at home...
Read moreIt took a week before I calmef down to write this review because I truly understand how difficult it can be running a restaurant. I will start off by saying the food was really good, so please do not let that stop anyone from going here. However, the reception upon entering on a Sunday morning was not welcoming. I am not sure if my husband and I did not fit the demographics or if management does not train staff in the importance of customers in the industry. The restaurant had plenty of seating available, but we were directed to the bar due to the lack of a reservation -- as an aside, we were there for a little over an hour, and those tables stayed empty. My husband was excited to bring me down to SET because he heard how good the food was, so we decided to stay. The server did not acknowledge our presence for roughly five minutes, and when she did finally flip the barcode menu in our direction, I knew we should have left then, but my resolution for the year was to master patience. We used the barcode to view the menu and waited and waited and waited, until I asked the woman beside me how they actually ordered their meal. It was at that moment the server came over and asked us what we would like to order. We then placed our drink and food order. There is no reason a person sitting at your bar should have to wait over 10 minutes to place a beverage order. What was most insulting was when our food arrived, the serverb gave us plastic takeout utensils. Every person sitting at the bar and the 5 tables that I could see had cutlery, wrapped in a napkin. When I looked around making the obersavation, a man two seats over from us pondered out loud what I was thinking. She immediately retrieved the proper utensil setup for us. Not cool. The fact that the gratuity was tacked on made...

Saturday night I decided to wing it here. Kind of wish I didn't bother.
Initially coming in, it had a club vibe, except everyone was seated eating or drinking: everyone was dressed nice and a nice mix of EDM/rap/pop music was blaring
Service for ANYTHING was incredibly slow. Between drinks, appetizers, entree, you name it. Like, someone is taking their sweet time. It would explain why a lot of my food was served cold.
Food menu was...eh. you can get the food almost anywhere. The bulgogi sliders tasted more like Jack Daniel's pulled pork. I know that taste anywhere. Bahn mi chicken sliders didn't taste like Bahn mi anything. I'd start by serving it on a baguette, though, and adding more condiments than red cabbage. Tasted like chicken on a bun. I was let down. To top it all off, my fries were served COLD! They even had cheese and bacon on it, but THE WHIZ WAS COLD TOO! What dining establishment does that? At least the cocktails were good... gotta get me to stomach cold fries and subpar food somehow...
I get the check....and there's an automatic gratuity of 20% added on top. I went with one other person. Also a tip is for good service, and I'm not averse to tipping right. That's just tacky.
Insult to injury, I lost some personal property here. I called, emailed. No one picks up the phone or returns calls or emails. What horrible customer service. I lose an item of some monetary and sentimental value and they don't even have the courtesy of calling back? I guess being next to the Piazza means they don't have to do anything right, be it give quality customer service or make sure food arrives...
