When I walked in I noticed there was a sign posted about increased prices so I assumed the menu was updated with the increase. Well I was wrong. When I placed my order I wanted chicken tenders with fries which the menu stated was 4.95 with fries. The Asian lady who took my order stated the chicken tenders didnāt come with fries and proceeds to cross out the āwith friesā in front of me on the menu. I should have known then something was fishy but Iāve been there many times and the food is pretty good. I proceeded to also order Rachel sandwich which was listed as 9.95 (it didnāt come with fries), one order of fries and half and half drink. Once the food is done she rings me up and the total came to 27.97! I said that is that the correct total and asked how much each item was , she references the sign about the increased prices and says the sandwich is 14.95, the one order of fries is 4 and the chicken tenders were 6.95. I said to her I understand you have this sign posted letting customers know the prices were increased however you need to change your menu so people are aware of the new prices. This is inappropriate and deceiving to customers. And the worst part was that 15 dollar sandwich wasnāt even that good. And for that price it shouldāve included fries...

When I picked up my platter they'd charged me for a side order that I hadn't ordered. When they took the side order back they appeared to charge me the same amount ($10+). The problem came when I asked why I was being charged the same amount. Instead of answering my question the owner started talking about needing to charge me more because I ordered a waffle with walnuts and bananas. I tried to tell her that wasn't my issue, that charging for the extra items was fine but she wouldn't answer my question. After about 4 mins of trying to get an answer I just said "Nevermind." I paid the amount and left. I don't like being overcharged for anything and I dont know if they did, but this was a negative experience today. Not saying I won't go back because I do usually like their food. Will just pay better attention...

The food was fair but the syrup for the pancakes was watered down and had no flavor. Although it was fairly busy at the time, there were others that had been waited on well after we arrived that received their order and left before we got our food. The server used the excuse that she didn't regularly work that section, but she was the server for the people that were previously sitting there. Overall, there's too much going on at once.
