The Marino Bros is a shining star amidst the sadness of the current state of the Bourse Food Court. The Bourse used to be a bustling Mecca for food and now there are lots of empty stalls. The Marino Bros is one of the few stalwarts and the Bourse is lucky to have them going strong. Their cheesesteaks are juicy. The ingredients taste fresh and everything can be made however you want. I got “the works” and it was delicious; meat was tender and juicy, mushroom and onions cooked to perfection to add some flavor while not overpowering and the amount of cheese was perfect. The truth of the matter is, if you have access to shaved ribeye, have a decent bread and know how to sauté an onion, a giraffe could make a good cheese steak. As a matter a fact, you can get a good cheese steak almost anywhere in the US. Makes no sense driving halfway across the city to wait in line 30 minutes for something that really can’t vary in taste too much.
