Mom's Seafood — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Got a dozen crabs from them today Originally I was tryna buy 12 males but the guy said they only had females so I get those and head home when I started to open them they smelled like ammonia so I took them back for a refund they said they don't do cash refunds so I'll have to get store credit (as if I'll want food from them again) I declined that so they offered me a dozen males which was interesting cause I was just told they were all out. I must admit, I only get two meals from this place, the green mussels and the dungeness platter. Sometimes when a restaurant is clean and professional and they package everything well, they also tend to serve small portion sizes. Don't worry about that here, if you're looking for a big seafood platter to just sit back and call it a day. Went there today and purchased 2 crab cakes and coleslaw the crab cakes taste like tuna fish patties and were so damn thin and my husbands chicken wings were so crunchy and hard almost chopped his teeth the French fries were the best and it’s sad food is so expensive to just be selling anything I wish I could give...
