This is classic South Philly - big ol oven built into the wall , multi generation family operation , such a cool spot. I went for my first time and the owner Steve could tell I was into bread and pizza and history and stuff and invited me back to check out how he bakes everything and showed me all the old machines, the mixer, the dough separator.
