First disclaimer, I eat here too much, but, in a land where the sandwich is the pinnacle of all food, I present to you a place that treats it like a proper art form. The lunch meat is perfectly sliced and layered. The condiments and toppings are placed with a love that when you take a bite, it all melds into unison. When you eat these sandwiches, you understand why Philly is a foodie town because even a small little shop like this understands the importance of flavor and consistency. Read moreI had the Italian, it was tasty and unique flavor, neatly made and a good size for about $12 which is competitive price for a large hoagie. Not as big as some but the quality speaks to the pride of the owners and workers, which can’t be said of all sandwich shops in South Philly. I think this is a new favorite spot for me, def will be back to try their bahn mi and other specialty sandwiches.

I am especially partial to the pork roll banh mi and the smoked salmon and pesto. The banh mi had a wonderful crunch on the outside and chewy texture on the inside and the pickled flavor of the carrots really shines through (which I find is often lacking in other banh mi options around town).
