This was my first time here… Instagram folks made this recommendation. The first smell was of Italian seasoning as I opened the door. Yah! I ordered a spicy turkey hoagie with chips, of course, and a black cherry soda. I added American cheese versus pepperjack to tone it down a bit. I absolutely loved the seeded roll. Patiently waiting with bated breath for my spicy turkey hoagie with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and onion. Upon receiving my sandwich, the weight-was amazing. I knew this was going to be filling. Yum! While the hoagie was a sumptuous size, the flavors didn’t connect for me. I did ask for extra oil and oregano. I’ll give them one more try because I have faith. Maybe I just need to emphasize a little more extra oil to bring it home. Lovely family atmosphere and friendly staff. I think they have a homeless program whereby they give sandwiches out once a week or month. I happened upon a gentleman that was there at the time thinking that he could get a sandwich for free. He must’ve had his days mixed up. He ordered a sandwich only to be told that this was not the free day. I think it’s wonderful that businesses such as this have a program like that. Because I didn’t want him to walk away hungry I paid for his meal and he thanked me.

So I’ve tried almost every hoagie in the city so why not go to a place known for their ravioli to try their hoagie?! Let me tell you I’m glad I did. This is the second best hoagie in the city. We ordered the old world and the spicy Italian. The old world was very good but the spicy Italian was the best. Everything was very fresh and tasted incredible, the roll was excellent, just perfect. When looking for a hoagie in the city, you must not overlook this place, give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. By the way, they have sizes small and regular which is great if you want to order several kinds and not get just one regular size.

1/26/24. On the spur of the moment stopped to pick up a couple of hoagies. An Italian and the corned beef special…delicious! The cashier, so very nice. Known for their fresh and frozen pasta, I recently visited P & S's Italian Deli. They carry a variety of hot and cold sandwiches hoagies, wraps and salads. I ordered the Italian hoagie, the corn beef special ( highly recommended), the hot roast beef (full of flavor, tender meat) and I couldn't decide between the macaroni salad or the potato salad, so I had to try both. The deli is bright, clean and the staff are super nice. Great that they are open on Sundays!

My family LOVES P&S, both for their delicious goods, but also for the people who work there. We've been frequent customers for MANY years. 3 of our P&S favorites are the Veggie Wrap, Corned Beef Special (it's so LEAN & thinly sliced!) & their Chicken Caesar Salad. Everything they make is terrific. Their prosciutto is epicly delicious! Best Ravioli in the City! I'm not exaggerating. P&S has top quality deli/food goods & the same can be said for their service. Huge praise to Maria @ P&S who's always happy & kind. High regards and praise to Heather as well for her quality people skills. Thank you to everyone else who works at P&S to "make it happen". My Mother, Dottie, loves to chat with Maria and Heather, and anyone else who will engage in a friendly conversation (someone making a sandwich and/or a customer or customers!). My Mother & I are social people who love meeting nice people. Shout out to everyone who works at P&S!! YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!! THANK...

Stopped here during a lunch break on the suggestion of a co-worker over a decade ago. Best cold hoagies in Philly. (I've never tried anything else.) I moved home to Texas, and this is my first stop from the airport if I land before they close, otherwise, it's my last stop before flying back home (or both). They've stayed consistent after all these years. I order a turkey hoagie, mayo, sharp provolone, spinach (secret ingredient to the deliciousness), onion, and sometimes pickles. I've taken other friends and family here, and they all love it. My daughter is in town now, and they're making sure they have 7 hoagies ready for her in the AM, so she can make her flight in time and bring mommy her sandwiches. Appreciate them so much! Parking in the nearby vicinity can be a pain sometimes, but it's worth the headache. Preorder so you can, hopefully, worry less about PPA popping out of the bushes while you...
