Sandwich Corner Market has great food. The service is friendly and they offer a creative menu with great variety. I don't eat meat, so it's nice to see so many pescatarian/vegetarian options on their menu.
I especially love the rotating specials to keep things fresh and it's great the see when a business is willing to experiment with new offerings. Not to mention the eclectic naming options for the menu – the Peanut Butter section stands out for sure.
When it comes to sandwiches you need good bread and I'm glad to say the bagels, Philly Muffins (Merzbacher's), and long rolls are all fantastic. I have not yet tried the gluten free bread options, but I'm sure they are up to par with what other places would offer.
Other than primary menu items, the prepared foods I've had such as dips, deli salads, baked goods, etc. are delicious.
If you're looking for a snack or something to cook alongside dinner in a pinch, the "market" in their title is also important to point out. They offer some local produce as well as some quick snacks at good prices.
I've become a regular for a combination of the reasons above as well as the convenience factor and a desire to support local businesses. Especially those that offer the ability to order-ahead online for pickup to accommodate...
Read morePicture the quintessential neighborhood corner sandwich shop of your dreams - this is it. This is the spot. Found it today and knew at first menu glance it’d be dope. The daily specials (kielbasa & egg sandwich, and Italian melt) were great and already thinking about the next ones I want to try (ex. The Bobby). Slaw, pickle, and Vietnamese iced coffee were great too!
The place was happily busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon - line inside but I ordered ahead online since I was walking my dog, and their service was great — I literally stepped inside and within 2 seconds someone came out to greet me, I said I placed order, they said my name and handed me my bag and coffee.
I don’t know what we the people of Francisville did to deserve Sandwich Corner Market, but my heart is full (and stomach)
(Can you guys maybe make like, a little sandwich sample flight? Like 3 little sliders somehow? I want to try so many at once but can’t be slamming like 3 sandwiches and foresee myself stressing in the future over which 1 sandwich to...
Read moreBest breakfast sandwiches ever. Getting a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a long seeded roll with cilantro garlic aioli? Incredible. The baked goods are also awesome — fresh baked treats like coffee cake and brownies and cookies with new options every day. Always fun to see what they have. Lunch sandwiches are great too — favorites were the Francisville, cold Italian, and hot Italian melt. Friendly, efficient service. I did pick up with Toast Local a couple times every month for a year. Never did the salads but the sandwiches always hit. They also have some grocery basics like fresh fruit. A bit of indoor and outdoor seating. Never disappointed. Sad to be moving away from this...
