While the coffee and atmosphere were decent, the service was far from it. From the moment my friends and I walked in, there was a noticeable tension, as if Black customers weren’t as welcome as others. It felt off from the start, but we decided to give the place a chance.

As we waited for our orders, a staff member approached and told us we couldn’t sit down unless we were buying something. We politely explained that we had already placed our orders and were simply waiting for them to arrive. Despite that, she insisted, saying, “Yes, but you still can’t sit here.”

At that point, we were confused and felt deeply disrespected. It became clear that this wasn’t about seating policy — it was about the fact that we were a group of Black customers, and they didn’t seem comfortable with that. Rather than escalate the situation, we took our food and left, but the entire experience left a bitter taste in our mouths.

In 2024, it’s disheartening to still encounter such blatant discrimination. I won’t be returning, and I certainly can’t recommend this cafe to anyone who values inclusivity and respect...

They are located across the street from me and I noticed them one day a few months ago. Kept them in mind for a day I wanted to grab a quick breakfast - and that happened a few weeks ago.

I called in my order - you can also order at the coffee shop and I believe they are on at least one of the delivery apps. My order was ready in the time they said, so wasn't in the shop long. For the time I was there, the staff was pretty friendly. I ordered a Turkey Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a bagel with Orange juice. Food was pretty good and I did feel full/satisfied with it. Prices felt a bit pricey, but I'm thinking it's actually on par with similar places, especially with rising costs/inflation affecting everything.

Since I'm so close, I see myself ordering there again and I would like to try some of the other items on the menu...

Meh. Loved that they still had pumpkin spice, as it's too good to have only a few months out of the year. Hubby thought his latte was average. The vegan egg and cheese bagel was ok. Bagel was good although a little burnt but the vegan sausage which looked just like Morning Star was nuked for 30 seconds too long. So overdone it was crunchy. I would have complained but the line was long and they were busy. This is a dog friendly establishment and they give pup cups to furry friends. It's a small space and dogs make it feel a little smaller. It seemed like most people walked here, if you are driving make sure your parallel parking skills are on point. Spots are hard to come by. $25 for two cups of coffee and a burnt sandwich seemed a...
