Staff is very personable and willing to discuss what goes into their products and why they’re as good as they are. Not too many flavors at a time which ensures each one is fine-tuned to be exceptional.

I purchased a Double: one scoop of Coffee which is mixed with chocolate chip cookies and caramel swirl; one scoop of Brown Butter which has sugared pecans blended in.

The Coffee was so well balanced yet managed to clearly identify as a coffee ice cream. If you enjoy the taste of coffee, this is no doubt for you. The ice cream is so creamy and the subtle crunch of the cookies with the sweetness of the caramel swirl: 10/10.

The Brown Butter obviously leads you to think Butter Pecan but no, that it is not. I cannot describe the freshness of the ingredients that jumps out; you literally taste the silkiness of actual butter in each bite but just like the coffee, there is balance. When you get the sugared pecans in your bite, you are left wishing there were just a bit more of those pecans in the serving. If that is my one complain, trust me I’m reaching here. 9.7/10.

They also make their waffle cones in front of you and your cup is garnished with a waffle cone chip. Yes I got a cup but will absolutely get the cone next time as that chip was like no waffle cone I’d ever had…amazing.

I love ice cream and just last weekend tried another new spot in Center City East and while that was pretty good, Cuzzy’s is on another level. A family owned business making their ice cream on site with the highest quality ingredients? I’ll take that all day. Cannot wait...

Creamy, smooth, absolutely delicious. Quite possibly the best ice cream I have had in Philly. My friend is obsessed with ice cream and she couldn’t stop complimenting the flavor and texture the entire time.

I got the banana ice cream with black sesame swirl and peanut butter. It was so good, I only remembered to take a picture after I ate half of it.

I LOVE that they have rotating flavors.. always keeps things interesting. But the quality of the ice cream was just perfect. They have several classic flavors but also a few super unique ones. My friends also had the cookies & cream and coffee with caramel and something else..everyone...

This store show some very prejudice practices, when it came to me and my family, who’s of African descent!!!! The customers that were sitting down, got up and started leaving as we walked in! The server that took our order, was very unprofessional. When he was done scooping my niece ice cream, he sat her cup on the counter, instead of handed it to her!! My wife handed him her money in his hand. When given her her change, he placed it on the counter!!!! If you are of African descent, please DO NOT SUPPORT this business. They make it very obvious that we (african decent) are not...
