This brewery has some of the best beer in the states in my opinion.
We have been to over 100 breweries and its not uncommon for us to find one amazing beer or good all around but its rare to find a tone of amazing beers and that is what we found.
Orange crush beer was amazing and if you like hazys with a very fruit forward taste (like me) this would be right down your ally. The Peanutbutter porter had great smooth peanutbutter taste without bwing overwhelming or too sweet. I think peanutbutter is perfect for porters and this is a prome examplem. Also i am really bias tword draft over canned but the pog sour was the best sour i have had in a long time. The perfect mix of sweet and sour with deep passion fruit and orange flavors.
The staff is also phenomenal. Great with recommendations, super friendly and generous with samples. We talked to some of them for a long time while it was slower.
The atmosphere is pretty great too. Huge bar island with good seating, and plugs that makes it easy to talk with people. The obey thing with the bar I would change is how close the chairs are. They were almost all touching so getting in is tricky.
The internet was actually pretty good here too. We worked here for a few hours on a weekday and it was fast and quiet enough to work (though gets a bit louder later)
I will be back whenever I can and if I ever live in philly again this...
Read moreWe’ve been loyal customers of this brewery for several weeks now, often coming in with a group of 10–15 people on Wednesdays for their 6 wings for $6 special. We always made reservations, always tipped well, and always ordered plenty of additional full-priced food and drinks. Without fail, every visit had been fantastic—great food, great beer, and a genuinely fun and welcoming atmosphere.
Unfortunately, that all changed during our most recent visit. Without any notice or signage, the wing special was suddenly altered. Now, in order to qualify for the deal, you must purchase a specific beer—despite the brewery offering 15+ beer options, only one type qualifies. This was never communicated ahead of time, and frankly, it felt like a bait-and-switch.
To make matters worse, the food quality had noticeably dropped. Our wings were undercooked, and the rest of our meals were hit or miss. The service, which had previously been friendly and attentive, was slow and condescending. After weeks of being regulars and supporting the business with large group orders and generous tips, this sudden change in tone and quality was disappointing and frankly, off-putting.
We’re sad to say we won’t be returning and will be heading back to our old favorite, Kraftworks, where we know we’ll be treated well and the food and service remain...
Read moreI came here yesterday with some friends on a recommendation and was really excited to try their beers and grab some lunch. We put in our initial drink orders and then our food orders, and that was that was the last time we saw our server. I have to say that the food was 5 stars - we shared the pretzel, cheese curds, and the brisket egg rolls and I had the smash burger as my entree. We were all extremely satisfied with our meals and I truly have not one bad thing to say about the food. What was really disappointing was the fact that there were about three different beers each one of us was hoping to try but we never had the opportunity to order another drink. We never even got to ask for another glass of water. Every attempt to get our servers attention was failed and he continued to walk right past us, as if we were completely invisible. To say this was irritating is an understatement - it really was bizarre enough to laugh at. He even approached our table at one point with drinks that were meant for another table, and once he realized his mistake we told him we needed him after he served the drinks, but he disappeared again. The lack of service really turned us off and we ended up having to shout for his attention when he walked by again just to get our bill. We paid and ended up getting...
